Came in, friendly, chair a bit uncomfy, food is good.Customer service was very nice.Kids got butter chicken, think it was wood grilled chicken (if its not, that is a problem), wife got the nice and hot shrimp stuff on a sizzling plate, pretty decent. I got chicken Tika Masala (i ate the whole thing). We also got chilli chicken (alright), somosa chat (a bit cold), but was still better than some of the places we've been to in the triangle. The tea was disgusting, and soda did taste like it ran out syrup.I agree with some of the other posts that the chicken tastes old, it does. I think they are freezing it, and thawing it out too quickly, or freezing it cooked, than taking it out each morning. Even so, ate the whole thing. Spices were on point.-1 star for the drinks and chicken, but, definitely edible compared to some of the places we've been visiting.Enjoy the picks
I visited from Los Angeles, and went out for Dinner over here and it is no where close to Nepali food as described in various review. It was typical common Indian flavor. On top of it, seems like they were in rushing to close out the restaurant even though there was one more hour to close as per time of close noted. Started vacuuming with loud noise as customers were having dinner. I ordered draft beer which was not cheap and it was half glass full of foam and upon asking, I was told the rates are till half mark.
The food wasn’t really good. I ordered the chicken biryani (hottest level), chili chicken momos (hottest level) and the fried cauliflower (hottest level). I did like the chicken momos, but that was about it. The cauliflower was not as crispy as most Nepali restaurants; plus, they gave me maybe 10-12 pieces. The biryani didn’t taste like the biryanis I have had before; it seems like the rice is a bit different from other places. If you go to this restaurant, stick with the momos and other stuff on the menu besides biryani and fried cauliflower and you should be good.
Best Indian food I’ve had in years!! We will definitely be back. Me and my mom got takeout and the veggie samosas were the best I’ve ever had. I’ve tried other Indian places in the area, and was kind of disappointed. I wont waste my time anywhere else again
Fantastic Delicious Food! Service was friendly, professional and attenuative. Lots of gluten free options too. The GF Papadum was a flavorful GF alternative! my wife who is not gluten restricted enjoyed her Steamed handmade Nepali Dumplings stuffed with Finely Chopped Veggie, cottage cheese, Special Herbs, and Spices. We both loved the Tandoori Chicken. Best we have ever had.
I hate leaving mediocre reviews but here we go.I ordered:1. Malai Kofta - hottest level2. Butter chicken - 2nd hottest level3. Muglai shrimp - hottest levelPros:- they definitely get it spicy for you- plentiful helping of shrimp in the muglaiCons:-they all tasted the same. In the online the pictures, the gravies for each dish looked very unique and customized. When the dishes arrived they were nearly identical. It all tastes the same. I was very sad.-wayyy too much cream used in the gravies. It made it way too rich and and detracted from the flavor of the fish. Normally the gravy is the best part, but I ended up picking out the meats and leaving the gravy behind.- instead of chunks of chicken, they sliced it SUPER thin. This caused the meat to be completely drowned in the gravy and you couldn't taste it. It also made it so the amount of meat in the actual dish was very scant. The butter chicken was basically all gravy. I'm annoyed. The chicken bites also had some gritty, grizzly ends that made a very unpleasant mouthful that I couldn't eat.-malai kofta balls were decent but lacking any raisins or cashews in the actual gravy. Once again the gravy is doused with so much cream it was unpleasant.-where were the mushrooms in the muglai dish?Summary:In the words of Destiny's Child:"You got me sayin': no, no, no ,no, no..."I don't know if I've ever ordered an Indian meal where I wasn't excited for 2nds, but I'm not excited for seconds. With high food costs and delivery fees, it just wasn't worth it.Tip:I'd recommend getting VERY contrasting dishes in order to insure you don't end up with 3 identical gravies.
Delightful surprise. This place has awesome food. The flavor is really amazing. Butter chicken, mango chicken and chicken tiki masala were all excellent. The server was very nice to us and it was clean and pleasant to dine in. Highly recommend
Giving 3 stars because this place is mediocre at best. Their mushroom soup was the only dish that me and my fiancé were obsessed with, it was amazing. Other good things were their garlic naan, aloo paratha, chicken vindaloo, and the MoMo. Not the best, but good. Now let's get into the bad stuff. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT order the paneer/chicken tikka masala. It was one of the most atrocious things I have ever put in my mouth. I could tell it wasn't going to be very good since the color of the dish was totally off. If it's not a reddish/orange color, it's not made right, yet their chefs don't know that. I'm indian myself so take my word for it and save yourself from disappointment and save some money but not ordering this. It tasted like spoiled cheese yogurt soup, so disgusting. Tikka masala is not supposed to be THAT creamy, your chefs need to learn how to make it right. Anyways, the mushroom soup was the saving grace, definitely get it if you love mushrooms.
I love going here. They have excellent customer service and the food is DELICIOUS. Also, they bring food very fast and good portion for the price. Best indian restaurant in Cary.
Most authentic Indian food I have had so far! I ordered the lamb somosas, shrimp tandoori, garlic basil naan with tika masala sauce to dip the naan and all the food was so delicious and flavorful. Please just trust me, you wont regret it! Updated: Photos added
