The raw chicken in the hibachi area always looks slimey and contaminated. The staff watches you from the moment you sit down and after 2 rounds at the buffet they quickly come over with the bill. They come over frequently to refill your cups in attempt to get you full enough off then beverages that you won't eat much at the buffet. The food selections are better for the dinner than the lunch which is really when they watch you like a hawk since they serve steak salmon and crab as an option. The take out experience is just as awkward they literally look inside your container to see what u have.
I rarely post reviews, but feel compelled to do so this time. This was our 2nd time eating here (1st time was no issues, over the winter). After having some egg noodle soup (tasted good), I went up to the hibachi station to choose my options, and handed to the cook. While waiting a few steps away for him to cook it, some movement caught my eye on the item bar to the left (where I had just picked out my rice, onions, zucchini, and raw chicken). It was a roach crawling across the edge along the back of the frame (he had come out from the edge along the back). Another came out and boldly walked along the front, and by this time my husband walked up (he had already eaten his selection while I ate soup first)…so I pointed the quite calm and non/fearful fellow out to my husband. The chef handed me my cooked meal..I went to my table where my other three adult kids were…and of course didn’t eat my selection. They were by that time almost done with their second plate ?. I went and asked for the manager, was pointed to a lady manning the front desk (behind the lean on the left). I explained what I had seen, and walked to the hibachi section to point out the location quietly (the brave roach fellows had seemingly grabbed a bite and had retreated behind cover to enjoy their meal). The manager apologized, saying that humidity has been a problem. The full bill came, and I asked the waitress to speak with the manager as I could not eat anything beyond the soup because of an incident I had made her aware of…the manager allowed the removal of my meal cost. I paid for the other 4, tipped appropriately (waitress service was great). and proceeded to exit the building for the last time. Will not return. Service good; but can’t handle roaches crawling.
To be honest the food is sometimes okay.....my wife and I used to eat here all the time 2015-2017.....until we moved. Recently this past week we returned with family and friends 5/14/2022...only not to have as better luck of showing off what was once our favorite spot. To put it bluntly we came across several dirty plates with food still stuck on them yucky ?. This wasn't like this year's ago. And most....NOT all the food.....was a repeat......MEANING leftovers....you could smell the rotten odor from the meat. So little to say....management has slack really bad sense the return of the pandemic apparently.
This place is fine. Food was good enough, seemed clean, over-serviced as per Asian Buffett rules. Only complaint is why not put all seafood at one table and other meats at other tables. I have shellfish allergy and it kinda sucks with them so close to each other but I make the choice to eat here right?
Will never dine here again. Food was a ok at best, but everyone in my family had diarrhea after eating. Many plates were not clean. Soda tasted funny. Ice cream scoop sitting in murky water. Also saw a water pitcher collecting water under the bathroom sink. Dine at your own risk.
Fast and friendly service; love the egg drop soup and honey chicken; the hibachi station is also great - don't forget to grab a few pieces of sushi next to the hibachi station while that food is being cooked. If you want a few things or a wide selection, it's available. Don't forget dessert - ice cream, cookies, dessert cakes, and fresh fruit (love the fresh orange slices). You can get it all and it's completely up to you! Come in, get a table, place your drink order and enjoy!Enjoyed this place for years; by myself, with family, friends or co-workers. It's always a good place to go.
This was the worst buffet I have been to in a long time. For starters, the “clean” plates had GIANT chunks of vegetables on them. I’m talking one had a giant piece of onion, a second plate (different stack) had a green leafy vegetable that had to be 3 inches long. Another stack had a smaller leaf. I made two trips to the buffet attempting to find edible food and in the span of the 25 minutes we were there those dirty plates remained. It was 230pm so it wasn’t even remotely busy. Workers kept walking around the buffet so there’s no reason it Should have remained dirty for that long. I mean it was dirty when we got there so it was dirty AT LEAST 30 minutes! Now the food. I get we were past lunch and too early for dinner so cold food is usually a given at buffets because it’s outside rush BUT even fresh this food was boring and gross. Idk how they have such good reviews because between being unclean and bland I can’t imagine why anyone goes here. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Wow. Let me put it on my list of favorite restaurants. It is a hibachi buffet with a huge variety of foods. In addition to the hibachi, you can get tasty soups and delicious sushi. You can stop by the buffet section where you will find a wide variety of seafood. You can choose from crabs, prawns, shrimp, squid, and salmon, as well as chicken, egg rolls, all in delicious preparations. This restaurant is definitely a must-go if you enjoy hearty, delicious food.
This place sucks. Worst food ever. Not even hot and did not taste good at all. Only the fries were good to me. YUCK! Manager was rude and didn’t even refund me. YUCK!
This the second time my husband and ate there and we both enjoyed it. I like the Hibachi and love the hot and sour soup. I was disappointed that both times we went there was no shrimp on the Hibachi offerings, even though there was plenty of shrimp on the buffet, at least today. The first time we went ( which was on a week night ) it cost us a lot less then today which is Sunday, we presume because there was much more shrimp on the buffet. So, especially if you can't eat shellfish or you just want to save money to go on a week day. I will say the place is clean and so was the ladies room. We will probably go again. Maybe next time I'll try the sushi.
