$50 for three decent but small sushi roles and two glasses of sweet tea is outrageous. $3.59 for a glass of sweet tea is insane. We just had giant glasses of sangria or quality wine all over Spain three weeks ago for €3. This is not inflation, but systematic price gouging and American consumers are fools for falling for it. Also, the menu says “crab” but it’s actually that cheap fake crab stick, which is a major let down. Won’t return.
I used to LOVE this place. And to some extent I still do. I ordered a surf and turf roll recently and the roll was almost 17 dollars and it came with RAW filet mignon on top of it. When I asked if it was safe to eat, the waitress simply told me it was filet mignon and that it was a surf and turf roll. I showed her the raw meat and she simply walked away from me. I will keep this in mind when coming back and if you don't like raw meat, do not order the surf and turf roll!
My husband and I have been going to Genki since we moved here in 2016. They are WONDERFUL people, the sushi is always very fresh, and the prices are great. We adore Genki!!!
Small place, didn’t feel comfortable, sushi was not the best. I’m from Florida so they had to be good. I wasn’t impressed.
Sushi here is just ok, not bad, not great. I also felt like the specialty rolls were incredibly small.
They have the best pan fried dumplings around! The sushi has been great every time. The staff is always super friendly as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great sushi spot!
Excellent Salmon Teriyaki. We had a few sushi rolls as well, and they were top-notch, too. We tried the chocolate cake and the orange cream cheesecake, and they were also excellent. We're definitely coming back.
The worst sushi experience I’ve ever had and I’ve been eating sushi for years. I tried a new roll and it tasted very oily vs any of the fish I ordered and the owner was rude in demeanor and stated “you can’t have a new roll just because you didn’t like the last one.” She also stated “ we’ve been in business for 13 years” How is this relevant, I’m not sure. She refused to let me order a different roll. This was after messing up our first order by adding avocado despite sharing that I didn’t want any. We drove 30 min to try this spot. Thanks but no thanks.
Good if you like sushi seems like it’s their specialty.Miso soup too salty, salad drowned in dressing. Flounder was good. Price reasonable.
Got seated right away. Great customer service. Fresh Sushi and delicious Green Tea fried icecream!
