Had the absolute worst service yesterday. We were there for a total of 2 hours. We waited for over 30-40 min for food that was cold, not even warm! We were all starving and I only took 3 bites of my season-less chicken and pasta. Worst pasta I’ve ever had especially for over $20. Not once did our waiter fill up our waters or check up on us. We weren’t even given the chance to have all of our food heated. We had to find another waiter to bring some water since ours never came back. We ordered a to-go meal when we placed our order only to have to wait 20 more minutes after we paid because they didn’t have it ready. After 30 min total of waiting and never seeing our server, we had to find someone else to tell us it was never made. We had to wait another 10 min once we requested for them to not make it and just have a refund for the take out. I am a native of Cary and have been to this restaurant within the last 5 years, over 10-20 times. We will never be back.
What a delightful find! I was craving authentic Italian food and Google led me to Enrigo, and I was not disappointed. It was a very busy night, but the hostess found me a spot at the bar. The bartenders were lovely and attentive, and I had a great conversation with another couple seated beside me. I ordered a sparkling rose' which was quite good, and I had the ravioli bolognese which was some of the best I've ever had--very rich, but delicate and not heavy. I will definitely be back.
Stopped in for lunch and enjoyed Italian with gf pasta! My husband had the pizza and loved it. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful spring weather:)
The atmosphere was nice and service fairly good. It was quite loud in the dining area so we chose to move to the outside. We ordered the Ravioli Pasticciati and a Combinazione Pizza. The Ravioli had a fairly muted taste. It wasn’t bursting with flavor but it was okay. The pizza was absolutely loaded with toppings, but the crust was extremely salty which made it hard to enjoy. Overall we were not very impressed.
Visiting from Buffalo NY with my cousin Beth and I must say the food and service was outstanding! I ordered the homemade pasta with a red cream sauce which was to die for. Even the bread is unbelievably delicious! All 4 of us loved the entire evening of delicious food and wonderful service. I wish Buffalo offered such fabulous food and experience!!!
The food was very good and generous portions. Very well staffed!
Great food. Great service. Very authentically Italian.
After reading all the positive reviews we decided to try this place out. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Our appetizer was good and we had high hopes for our entrees. Shortly after receiving our food, we were highly disappointed. The meatballs and chicken we ordered were evidently not freshly made, as they tasted like plain frozen meatballs, as for the chicken, it had a rubbery texture and did not taste fresh. We also ordered a tiramisu, and as I was eating I took out pieces of gelatin out of my mouth. The pasta and the sauce were delicious, which is why I was able to finish my plate. Overall, good ambiance and service but the food was not it.
My friend was visiting from out of town, so we decided to go to a nice Italian restaurant for dinner. Unfortunately the poor service we got at Enrigo sullied what otherwise would have been a good meal. Our waiter was a young gentleman with a strong Italian accent and was helpful and kind when he visited the table but he unfortunately only visited our table to take our orders and remove our plates at the end of our meal. We ended up having to ask the bus boy for assistance after we had gone 30 minutes without a refill. The rest of the staff seemed friendly and helpful in our waiters absence (he was there just flittering with girls at the bar). Once we were finished, our waiter returned to our table to remove our plates and we asked him to split the check. Twenty minutes later we decided to ask another waiter to get the check for us since ours had never returned. In conclusion, the food and options at Enrigo were good and it had a nice atmosphere. I hope that I have a more attentive waiter on my next visit because I'd like to try other dishes.
This restaurant is very clean and upscale, with delicious appetizers; however, the pasta noodles have always been slightly harder than I'm used to. I would still recommend it if the prices were slightly lower. Expect to spend about $20 per person if ordering pasta.
