Great donuts and great service! Don't get me wrong, I love my Krispy Kreme but Duck Donuts is just different. You can't compare the 2 because they are 2 totally different kinds of donuts. Duck Donuts is hard to beat.
The donuts were good but the service needs work. Our order was taken promptly as we were the only ones in at the time. The issue was when the order was being made. There were 3 young ladies standing between where the donuts are made and the back office along with 1 young man. One young lady was twirling her hair while they were all standing there talking about the latest and greatest about the gossip from school (not very sanitary). The other issue is that the young lady who's job it was to make the donuts was stopping every 5 seconds to engage in the conversation with all the others. I just wanted to get my stuff and go as quickly as possible and then they could do whatever, or talk about whoever after I left. If you go here be prepared to wait longer than usual while employees make sure to have their conversations ?.

Service: workers are fast and efficient, which is good since the line gets long.Dine in: there's not much space. There's only 2 table and bar type seating that could probably fit 3 people.Donuts: Its fluffy and airy. Also, crisp and moist at the same time. Not too sweet, especially when used as a base for a sandwich.
At first I was not sure, they were much different compared to the ones I had before them. They were more like cake. I tried the different combinations and ended up loving them. It is great how if a donut is on the menu, you never hear, sorry it is sold out. They make them fresh each order. The people that work at this location are super nice and do a great job.
Made to order melt in your mouth delicious donuts!!!! Wonderful variety of toppings. Definitely will be returning.
First time having these donuts and wow were these donuts yummy! Each donut was cake like with every bite. Instead of having a dense, traditional donut texture these donuts were light, fluffy and easy to devour. All of the donuts were equally delicious and frosted right in front of you.[Top left to right to bottom left to right]? Ants Marching? Halloween Mist? Spider Web? Lemon Coconut? Chocolate with Peanuts? Peanut Butter ParadiseWhat an experience! My favorite would have to be the Spider Web donut with cinnamon sugar and a vanilla drizzle.
I came to Duck Donuts after a very long time. This was just my second time going when I went yesterday afternoon. It is located in Cary on Wrenn Drive near the post office.The store was pretty busy. People were coming in and out…constant flow of people. There was only one person at the counter taking orders. I believe his name was Tristan. He was very helpful and understanding. I had never ordered multiple doughnuts or at least not in a long time so it was new to me.It was taking me longer to order than most people and he still kept his cool for the most part which I get. The place was really busy. I saw they had caffeine free chamomile tea which I love. I was having trouble opening the box to get an individual tea bag out. He could see I was struggling and told me how to get it out. I also that that it was nice to be able to get your individual tea bag out and steep it especially during Covid-19.I went back to order hot chocolate for my Mom and realized I couldn’t find my credit card. I was really panicked. I asked around at the area where they make the doughnut assembly and the guy there said he can ask around.After looking all over, I went back to Travis to ask if he gave me my credit card back or by mistake still had it. He seemed slightly upset and said, “We don’t keep credit cards.”When I sat in my car, I found fit. What a relief. I called the store back an hour later, and explained what happened to the girl that picked up and to thank Travis for all his help.If I could I would give this place more than 5 stars! I will def be back. Great food, made fresh and to custom order.Very friendly staff.
freshly made donuts that are made to order. the wait isn't bad at all! around 1.75 each donut when we bought half a dozen. Donut toppings can be removed ex. no sprinkles, only sugar no cinnamon, etc.Stayed hot all the way home and still tastes good a day after ?
Not sure you can get a fresher ? anywhere else! Kids love coming here as they offer unique made to order donuts. I had their mocha and it was delicious!!
