We came here for Father's Day Brunch/Buffet. They had their stellar fried fish, green beans, corned beef hash, prime rib, and many other choices...plus a lot of dessert choices. I wasn't too crazy about the prime rib...it was a bit over done and tough, but the rest of the bar was very good. The service, as per usual, was amazing. Would highly recommend.

The entire staff could not have been more accommodating. They were friendly, courteous and gracious. The food was served hot and was delicious from the apps right through dessert. We had a fabulous evening. We will definitely be back.,
Fast and friendly service, wide variety of tasty food, and great authentic pub vibes! Definitely feels like your neighborhood Cheers bar. Pro tip: Check their website for weekly events like music trivia and weekly live irish music - one of our favorite things to do in Cary. I personally love their dill salmon salad, which is a great low carb option. My FAVORITE thing about Doherty's though is how fast and helpful they were in responding to some of my questions about the menu. Keep up the great work y'all!
Great food, drinks and service. We thoroughly enjoyed the goat cheese salad and the pan seared cod with lemon caper sauce alongside a KA-BAR Brown Ale and a Carolina Mule. Recommend revisiting.
Had an excellent experience here today! Our server, who as I recall was named Rick/Ricky, was phenomenal. Was very attentive and made sure our drinks were full and recommended a seasonal menu item (pan seared cod with lemon caper sauce) that my girlfriend loved. I had the corned beef and cabbage which was also delicious. Can't believe I haven't yet heard of this hidden gem in Cary. Will definitely be returning. Great atmosphere and great food.
Dinners are about experiences and good food. Make sure you go when the live Irish music is there…makes the place great. Food was very good…especially the Irish egg rolls. Bring an appetite, food is very filling…not great for those on a diet…but worth the splurge. Atmosphere makes the place…enjoy!
Hopping on a Monday night. Perfect place to decompress after a workday. Great bar service. Ordered the salmon salad and dirty martini. Both on point.
