Di Fara Pizza Tavern. Best NY style pizza in NC. No flop, thin crust, great service! It’s our go-to for a slice or a pie. Highly recommend their cheese pie or white pie.
We’ve been going here since they opened. We usually would just get a cheese slice or a slice of pepperoni. Good pizza. One evening we went and decided to try a slice of the chaos. Game changer!! This is absolutely the best pizza I have ever had. The combination is pure perfection. Warning- once you’ve had this pizza, you’ll crave it it’s that good!!
Visited for the first time to meet up with a friend and we enjoyed it. Definitely save this spot for a special occasion as it is pretty pricey. We ordered 1 chaos pizza to share and 3 beers and the total was $80. So definitely a special occasion spot. It is nice that it is located right in downtown Cary so you can walk around the town.
We stopped by this week for the first time. 2 slices of Chaos was possibly the BEST pizza I’ve ever had. Super thin, crispy crust, rich tomato sauce, great toppings. Can’t wait for next trip to Cary and my next slice of pie. Great place!
I decided to come here for the ratings. It's a cool pizza spot. I tried a slice of the chaos pizza. It was okay. It was nothing that I would go back four again. However, I am not going to just throw this entire pizza place away since I only ordered one thing off the menu. I also tried the Gin basil smash. It tasted like soda water. I could barely taste the gin. The bartender forgot the simple syrup. He was quite busy, so I will give him a pass on that. But as far as taste for both cocktail and food, I have to give them a minimum score.
We are originally from the Northeast and have been on the hunt for authentic NY Pizza. This is a second location for their one that is based on Brooklyn. Don't let the price stop you....this pizza is worth every penny. The dough is amazing, not flimsy, sauce is sweet, and ingredients are super fresh. The igloos were fun for our kids too!
Di Fara’s Pizza Tavern rescued me from decades of disappointing pizza. Ever since I moved away from the Northeast, I’ve been searching for outstanding thin crust and coming up empty.Years of mediocre pizza drove me bananas. I started watching pizza documentaries on YouTube in my spare time and fantasized about making a trip up to New York just for the pizza. More than one video in my research featured Di Fara’s in Brooklyn.I found out two days ago that Di Fara’s recently opened a location in Cary. I bounced around, a pizza maniac, telling everyone about how excited I was to try it. Today I brought five friends with me and we ate ThePizza. Finally. One friend said, “This is the best pizza I’ve had in my life.”The center of the pie is a slippery experience, just like traditional Neapolitan pizza. The pizzas are large, so for floppiness management, consider the fork. The ‘ronis curled up with crispy edges—my fave. Flavorful sauce. Thin, bubbly, slightly charred crust. Fresh basil topping. The square pizza boasts a thicker crust. I did not partake in the square, but my friends loved it.Our server was new and/or inexperienced, but he was sweet.Don’t go to Di Fara’s…it’s great, but it’s already busy and I want there to always be a table open for me.
Tried Di Fara for the first time last night, the BEST pizza i have ever had. Highly recommend the fresh garlic as a topping, it is seriously amazing! 10/10.
Best. Pizza. Ever.I think about this pizza 24/7..it’s out of this world. My husband usually orders his pizza with lots of toppings, but at Di Fara he just gets the regular cheese pizza because it has so much flavor!!! I’ve NEVER seen him eat just cheese, so it’s really saying something!Great service, friendly staff, outstanding pizza! ?
We have eaten at DiFara a few times now. Tonight we ate inside an igloo and it was such a fun experience for the kids! We ordered the square pie with pepperoni. Fresh and delicious. But our family favorite is the massive calzone!!!!
