Love the new D&B. Great atmosphere.
great place for the kids the first time at that location. will return soon .
When it was at the mall in cary it was great… but holy crap today was my worst experience ever at Dave and Busters. I spent 110$ on cards and VR, then went to get food, not a single server asked if we could figure out their new app( which sucks btw, kept freezing etc) then our food took an hour, then we kept trying to pay for over 30 minutes. And they couldn’t find our checks! Okay so dinners over no biggie time for VR…. WRONG!!! They shut it down after I spent 40$ on the VR
Great time eating at D&B...I never gave it much credence from a food perspective, because it's arcade/entertainment destination, but I was pleasantly surprised that the food turned out really tasty. I had the Fish and Chips and the Korean Sticky Ribs... No buyer's remorse here! Service was also on point. The dining room was kept super clean (saw the Host with a broom and dust pan around the dining room several times during dinner). ????
I like the new location. I would not come here if not for kids but it is a great place to come where the kids can play games while I enjoy a beer (kids over 12 who can have some freedom). My latest experience was at the new (as of May 2022) on a Sunday night when it was pretty calm. Server was attentive, food was good and came out in a timely manner.
the service was extremely slow and we hardly seen our waitress I had to take the bill up to her just to get checked out so the kids could go play they games were great but the food service was slow
I really enjoyed the new building! The new color scheme being blue and white is much nicer in the eyes than the orange and blue (though I get that isn't a locational, choice) and the new dinning room, is very nice. Though that being said, it is a bit said that it seems like the arcade is so, much smaller. Walk ways between games are narrow and it can be hard to traverse during peak hours.
My husband brought me out to celebrate my birthday! Yes on Valentine Day??♀️??♀️ games were awesome. It was when we wanted to have some food everything went left. The host was obviously not happy about hosting. We watched a server work harder at Not acknowledging us than was necessary. We had decided to leave and I caught Her eye. Then and only then did she turn around and come greet us. I had made up my mind I was coming home to have leftovers. When I smiled and told her we just needed a couple sodas to go she offered them to us free of charge because She Knew We Had Been Sitting There For Quite A While. I swear I can't make this stuff up! Still super disappointed with this visit! I haven't contacted management because I'm not sure it would be helpful and I don't want game credits or a percentage off my food. Maybe we'll try again next year on my birthday??♀️. Then again knowing us probably not.
No one was at the front of the restaurant area when we walked in. Waited 10 minutes before we just went to the arcade area to find someone to seat us for dinner. There were 3 employees plus a manager standing around taking to each other and eating food. They looked at us and continued talking and eating before I had to ask for help. An employee eventually sat us. Food was cold, bland and over priced. Great waitress so I tipped well. Tried to buy tickets for games on my phone and it wouldn't scan on any games. Definitely not a do over.
I was reluctant to go to D&B and will not be back anytime soon. After being seated, we weren’t greeted with a server and didn’t know if we should just scan the QR code on the table or wait for service.A while later a server came and took our drink order, the drinks took some time and came out one by one. We weren’t asked about appetizers or our entrees, so we ordered off of the app/qr code. It took 20-40 minutes waiting for each thing with zero communication about what was taking so long or the server checking in on drinks. The food was subpar and overpriced. When it came time to check out, it took even longer. There was a large group next to us that was unhappy with their own experience and was waiting to take over our table to extend their party. The tables were clearing out at this time and the restaurant wasn’t too busy but had a surplus of staff. Finally, a different server came over to ask if we needed anything and we asked for the check. Waited another 15-20 minutes, the check came without the discount that we showed them at various times. (We don’t usually go out of our way to insist on discounts but it was a large group there was such a lack of communication and service it seemed necessary to remind them.) The server then told us that the check couldn’t be revised and offered us game cards and drinks instead. We reluctantly took the game cards. And then the drinks to take the sting away from the bad service. At the very end the server apologized and explained the situation. The game card didn’t make us want to come back and I don’t foresee that happening. As someone that works in the service industry, it’s rare for me to leave a bad review and I’m pretty patient and let a lot of things slide. It’s obvious that Management is setting up these servers to fail and not supporting them in the correct ways.
