Have never been but they have great reviews. However, you get one time to make a good impression and this location (Cary) has failed. I tried making a reservation for my son's 18th birthday and I kept getting an error message. There is a tab on the website for reservations, but that does work either. I called to ask if I could do a reservation over the phone and I was told that I would need to call 24 hours in advance. I explained that the Google button for reservations was not working. The person who answered the phone told me that it had been shut down. (but it did not give me an option to go to another site to do a reservation either) I was told that the owner's email was on the website and that I should email my reservation information. I did but as of yet I have not received a response. As I have looked around on the Internet I see that Yelp has an option to make a reservation for this location however the maximum number of people is 6, I have 10. Soooo I asked my son for option B....we're going to IHOP!
The chicken was extremely greasy. I spoke with the staff and asked them if the chicken is cooked fresh. The staff member stated that the chicken is cooked every so often and refilled into the grease prior to being served so that it is hot.
The service was great The food was disappointing. The waffle was dry and the wings were not freshly fried, they seemed reheated. Since we got there right after opening, I wondered if we were being served food left over from the weekend.
Where do I start......we randomly looked up this place as we were passing through and when I say all the food was good that's a understatement. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned and the sweet potato waffle was nice and fluffy with lots of flavor. To top it off they also had homemade butters and drizzle for the chicken. I will definitely be coming back anytime I'm in the Carolinas.

I have been to the Durham location a couple times, though it’s been a few years.I loved the options of flavored butters and sauces., and I had loved the chicken. I thought I’d give this location a try, because it was a little more convenient, and parking was so much easier. Both my husband and I were disappointed. Our chicken was over cooked and dry. It almost seemed like it had been reheated. The flavored butters were good, and our service as good, but the chicken was not. I don’t see myself returning.

Had a pleasant visit here. Couldn't stay long but I did get a chance to sit down and get my food. Food came out in great timing. Good flavor and the menu is simple ( which I love). I'm a sweet tea fan and omg it was good.Place looked cleanHost came in good timing ( some places the host is no where to be found ?) so I got seated in a timely mannerThe crew was niceFast service but it was slow when I came which is even better for me ?.
the staff are friendly & the place itself is cute & homey. we were told it was an estimated 45min wait but it ended up only being 20! the food itself is good, though they did raise their prices a bit. the chicken is crispy & well seasoned, the grits is delicious as well as the eggs, & the waffles are sweet & fluffy. the mac n cheese is a MUST try, it’s delicious.(food description)the raymond mucho (photo 5&6): came with your choice of waffle & shmear along with eggs, grits & a chicken cutlet.the carolina cockeret (photo 4, bottom): came with your choice of waffle & side. peach-apricot shmear & ask yo mama drizzle. & three wings.the light brown leghorns (photo 4, top): came with the classic waffle, four chicken legs, chocolate hazelnut shmear & caramel cashew drizzle.shmear: (in case you didn’t know because i didn’t) is a flavored butter, i recommend the maple-pecan
We were able to go to Dames for breakfast. It was great. Our wait time was about 30 minutes but they moved really fast. Our waiter Desmond was awesome. It was really busy but he was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We all had the wings with the waffle and different shmears. Soooo good. I would 100% recommend stopping here if you like good food, vibes, and service. Also shoutout to the curly haired host today he was really nice.
