Great downtown pub and food!?
Love the local feel with great bartenders and servers.
Yesterday was very disappointing. The Fish and chip were soggy, could not eat, hamburger was a puck. Wait staff just said 'oh well' Never had this before, not sure if we will return!
Great place to eat and grab a drink.The Diablo Burger was very tasty. Nachos, Mac and Cheese and salads were all enjoyed during our visit.
Food is pretty tasty even if the ambiance is a bit grungy inside (quite dark and pub-like, which is fine but not entirely my preference). Definitely try the fish and chips which is what they're known for - it's tough to get the perfect mix of batter to meat but they seem to have mastered that, with a beautifully thin and crispy batter such that the fish tastes melt in your mouth good.Be ready for waits of 1 hour+ particularly on popular evenings of the week. Also not exactly my preference for a lunch spot as the grungy dark interior can feel heavy, but fine for dinner. Some very minimal metal outdoor seating (definitely no good if it's cold out) on the patio in front of the building.
I love Crosstown! Wings, mac+cheese, burgers, tacos, oh my!! Outside of the food being amazing, the owners and staff are wonderful!!!
We ate lunch here and had a fantastic meal. My wife raved about the French Dip sandwich, and I really enjoyed their Downtown Burger. We also enjoyed a couple of drinks (beer and a cocktail). This is definitely a restaurant to return to!
Great service. Food was delicious pub food. Plenty to choose from. Get the fish tacos, no get the fish and chips, but wait the burgers … you get where I’m going with this right?.. ITS ALL VERY GOOD! Tables inside are spaced well away from one another. Great conversations being had by all that were dining in. Spacious outdoor dining also available. Got to meet the owner who happens to be from my hometown in Connecticut. Nice conversation & we wish him well!
The fish and chips were excellent! Not a huge fan of the coleslaw, but personal preference. Good atmosphere, reasonable price. And they had the Olympics on.
Burgers here are fantastic! I had the Downtown Burger with Swiss and mushrooms and my daughter, the same but with chili--just delicious! Service was prompt and attentive. Will definitely be back!
