My first visit, service was quick, and the staff was very helpful in helping pick a sampler to try several items. We chose the Judges Sampler, and it was a perfect pick. Pulled pork, brisket, chicken (we chose dark meat), and ribs. This came with corn bread and 2 sides, we chose mac and cheese and baked beans, and also upgraded to pints (really unneeded, as the amount of meat was plenty). The food was amazing, even the brisket was on point. I will certainly be back next time I'm in the area.
This place was overall mediocre. Not bad, just acceptable. The brisket was really good. But other than that everything was just okay. We got the collared greens and corn bread both were just okay. (Not worth an upcharge) Very disappointed with their original barbecue sauce. In my opinion the suace makes the restaurant and I have had better sauce out of a bottle. We will probably go somewhere else for barbecue next time. The staff were very friendly and the service was quick though so that is a plus.
The call center was really nice and good at up-selling items... I was really excited about my order. The wait time was reasonable, and they are in a great location. All I can say is, the food was not on par with the service. I was very disappointed...and this was my first time at this restaurant. The brisket was dry, the pulled pork lacked flavor, and the ribs were also bland (although they did fall off the bone)... almost tasted like they were boiled and then slathered in sauce. Really unfortunate, as this place is close to my house...oh well. They were really busy, but I don't think I will be going back.
I am thankful I stopped here. I walked in to amazing bbq smells ? I was so hungry , ordered the pulled pork with cole slaw a side of flavourful collards and corn bread. It was paired with their zing BBQ sauce (forgot the name ) and some water. It was scrumptious yall. I came in hungry and left to take a nap ? ?That wraps it up for you. Lol I'll be back to try more from their menu ?Ring the bell on your way out ✌?
Always wanted to try their barbecue ribs... yummy ?. The last time when I went with my friends, I only tried the BBQ chicken. Their sides are so good... we had fried Okra and Mac&Cheese. We also tried their triple chocolate cake... the best chocolate cake I ever tasted!!!Very helpful service and people are so nice. We sat outdoors and was checked on a few times!!
I haven't been here in a year. We came in at lunch time and although it was busy, service was fast. I had forgotten the sandwich I used to order when I described it the cashier new exactly what I was talking about. I ordered the Cowbell and my husband ordered ribs. We also learned that Tuesday was 40% off on all ribs.Update: same great food and service
First time here. No, complaints. Great customer service, fast and delicious. Ribs, chicken, baked beans with brisket, collards with pork. All was on point. 60 bucks for quality and quality ?. Don't take my word go and try for yourself ?
Yes, tasty, but *BEWARE DELIVERY* I don’t know if this order was poorly packaged because it was ordered through Uber Eats, but; there was BBQ sauce spilled all over the bag because it wasn’t sealed well, Hot chicken sandwich looked like it was put together with no care, they have no containers for sandwiches and hush puppies, so they were all crushed. Poor delivery quality control standards, fries were cold and delivery address is a 10 minute drive away.
Great NC BBQ experience!Flew in from IL and wanted to sample some local BBQ. City BBQ delivered.Was excited to try the More Cowbell (brisket, cheese, grilled onions, horseradish mayo sauce, and Texas toast). It was good but a little underwhelming. Oddly enough, the 1/4 chicken was utterly fantastic!! The skin was cooked to perfection.Also, the hush puppies were some of the best I've had in a looooong time. And check out the wet naps...look how large they are!
Absolutely enjoy coming here! Food is always good, and staff always respectful. They seem to genuinely want you to be happy and satisfied. They even will explain the menu options in detail, and tell you the different combinations you could do things. Thanks for all you do for the community!
