I'll start by saying everyone there was working hard and was friendly. The food was fresh and tasted good, but...my guess is that this is another case of staffing issues. When we walked in I noticed that all of the drink dispensers were either empty or down to the last inch and they stayed that way for the 30 min that my family was there.I ordered one of the standard bowls (lemon chicken) and it began by them being out of the main type of rice "it'll be a while if you wait for that" so I substituted it with brown rice. No big deal. Then, at the last station they were like oh we're out of the lemon sauce too. So it was no longer a lemon bowl at all. They didn't just run out but they let me order it anyway. Just put up a sign or tell us up front.
First time eating at CAVA. It was actually very good. Mediterranean is not my first choice of eatery when we go out but I can say this was a great choice today. I got the build a bowl and it was delicious!!! If you have a CAVA near you please try it. It's worth a try.
I had a bad experience here, but maybe others orders could have had a better taste or they might have liked the taste. This is only my opinion, but I think “The Greek Salad” is not good. I did not like the little bit spicy chicken, spinach, olives and I certainly hated the Greek Vinaigrette dressing. I would recommend everyone to make their own salad, rather than choosing from the menu, your taste preference could be different from liking The Greek Salad.
So I ordered online for pickup. When I got to the restaurant to pick up my order I noticed that it had a 92 grade. Had I know this I would’ve never never ate here. When I ordered online, my pick up time was for 12pm. I arrived about 12:05 but still had to wait another 25 minutes for them to make it. It was ridiculous. I could’ve just went through the line if it was going to take that long. I have never had such a bad experience at CAVA will not be visiting this location ever again.
Food was great and the staff was very friendly. We really like coming to the Cary location whenever we can.
Jackpot! I think I found my favorite here. This is my first time visiting this place. I was going back from my sister's house around 8-9pm. Didn't know what to order. I told the man that I'm new to this place. He kindly guide me what to order, how many and what I wanted. He also gave me a side to try out a Caesar Tahini. Didn't know what it was, until I tasted it. It was good. Got two different tahini sides in the end. If it wasn't for him, I would be lost and left this place.I like how they serve just like Chipotle but with mediterranean food. I wanted to try out the roasted white sweet potato but they ran out today. Instead, I had some spicy lamb meatballs. It was good. Good kick, all those veggies you can pick as a topping, so good! That's a thumps up. I could bring my family to eat here or take out to have this all day.Unfortunately, I won't be here until June. Have a surgery coming up. I hope I can still try those sweet potatoes as soon as I come back..Good food, clean and organized interior, service? Thumps up towards the workers here:) ??.Ate greens and grains bowl with lamb meatballs with lots of veggie toppings.Photos below and ate it all.
The food here is great! A young lady that made my plate had no mask and was talking into my food even when I nicely asked her not to talk while making my food. The next girl that did the rest and checked me out was very respectful and nice.I suggest that CAVA require that the people making food wear mask. CAVA’s food is healthy and fresh. I do not need any added ingredients (saliva) from the workers.Mind you, this is my first negative experience since I’ve been coming here.
First visit and impressed with the food. Our tasty bowl had fresh ingredients from various choices and moderately priced. Staff was helpful and keep the line loving. It lost a star because bathrooms really needed attention.
I order from here every week and it seems like the quality over the last few times has gone down. I love this place but will be taking a break. Very disappointed in the food the last few weeks. Not sure if there is an employee shortage, or food shortage, but some of the items tasted and looked a few days old. We did a group order last week and the lettuce looked old, plus there was no hummus and the portion was 1/3 of what it usually is. Today's lettuce looked quite old and the rice was hard. Very disappointing.
I love CAVA, the food is delicious and the service is great... Except this place isn't. Consistently after 9pm the staff have given up and there is barely any options remaining even though there is a full hour before closing. Staff often are cleaning up the drinks at 9:30 and they've stopped restocking the ingredients, and they treat you like an inconvenience when customers arrive well before closing. I've also been to this place where they put a paper sign on the door with poor handwriting saying they closing early... The manager and shift supervisors should be terminated, since they are hurting the brand. This is my third experience in a one month period like this after 9pm, but other locations seem to meet the standards, this however doesn't.
