The bread is always superb, that when I buy it, it will be impossible to let cool because it is eaten right away. Secondly, I do not know the owners but it must be they or their staff who I have interacted with and they are most kind and attending, very polite and friendly. Iraq hiliwa ya balady. This is one of my favorite places in all of Raleigh. Folks, try in place of pita, if you are Bosnian or Albanian too, it will remind you of Samun or Lepinja, try with Ajvar and Çevapi or Kofta and Hummus. These are very good combinations with this bread
this was a few months ago..I havent gone since ...Was given a bit of an older bag of bread. not sure if I wasn't a regular, but I wish I got a fresher bag .. price is decent.edit: owner deleted their rude response....an unbiased review is unbiased. I dont need to go out of my way to ask for fresh bread.. I was handed a bag ..commented on what I got.
I bought Pita bread, they are so delicious. The stuff are super friendly .I'm sure I'll buy more there.
If you're looking for an authentic middle eastern pita bread, that's your go-to bakery.Definitely a keeper for me and my family
Great samoon. Paired great with shawarma and yellow rice.
The Iraqi samoon bread is so fresh and delicious
Best products with great customer service ?
Just found this store for the first time this weekend. The fresh breads are fantastic and the woman was very friendly.
Amazing and authentic bakery with Iraqi style flatbread and loaves. Different than pita but very tasty and made in a brick oven behind the counter. The dairy case has multiple cheeses, yogurts, and other treats. The market isn’t huge but it has a lot of hard to find spices and jars of pickles and olives and the prices were very reasonable and the store was spotless. I’m excited to go back and my kids are loving the bread.
Superb fresh bread! Just like the middle east. Support this local authentic place by getting your pita here. Gorgeous oven. Good with middle eastern or indian food.
