Lovely authentic food! Outdoor patio was a nice naturalistic vibe.Pictured: bulgogi lettuce wraps, chicken katsu, and cilantro roll. All were fantastic!
This place does Korean food better than Japanese.Pros: diverse staff and quick serviceCons: The sushi is very overpriced and not fresh. There were dark spots on the salmon in the sushi platter I ordered and they douse their sushi in sauces (which is not the authentic way). The rice is stale and hard, not fluffy. The kimchi also did not taste like it was made in store but felt as if it was bought from a grocery chain.
I'm normally used to the Korean restaurant at home in Fayetteville. However, if I want excellent korean cuisine and even sushi I always come here. The dishes are amazing in presentation and flavor, the servers are always attentive, and the atmosphere is calming. My main dishes I like are the Samgyupsal (pork belly), bibimbop, korean fried chicken, and the sushi. The food is always filling but never makes you feel like you ate to much either. Highly recommended.
Service was great, not too busy. Ordered the bibimbap with bulgogi and chicken. Food was nice and hot. Cozy place.
Sat us and served us promptly. Food was amazing. Had bulgogi fries, aroma sushi roll and bbq set. Definitely plan on going back.
I have been twice so far. First time I stopped in at lunch and got a bento box, there was no one else there. I got great service and enjoyed the chicken Katsu. That’s when I noticed on the sushi menu that they serve my favorite specialty roll, Crunchy Diablo. So I finally made a return visit months later and tried the Crunchy Diablo and Red Sun. I placed the order to go and the6 said 3 minutes. So I arrived 30 minutes later and I still had to wait 10 minutes because they were so busy at 5:30pm on a Tuesday. The place was 2/3rds full. I chatted with the waitress and she said it was surprisingly busy for early on a Tuesday. It was worth the wait. The sushi was awesome. The best Crunchy Diablo Ive ever had. The Red Sun was very good too but I’ll be going back for more Crunchy Diablo. Go
The food and service where terrific. We had a corn cheese and a roll to start. Both very well made and just the right portion. For dinner we split a mixed platter. It was perfect! What a great little spot in an unassuming location.
A true hidden gem in Cary! The food is so rich and flavorful. Kimchi and Tempura udon are my favorite here. The Bulgogi fries are probably the best loaded fries I've had in the Triangle area. Service is prompt and the staff is extremely friendly. Unlike most Triangle restaurants, the environment is just so peaceful that your dining experience leaves you both physically and mentally satiated.
Great little spot! Amazing food! Can’t wait to come back and try all the rolls. Look them up on Instagram for food pics!
A good place to go for sushi that isn't smothered with sauces. If you like bibimbap, their lettuce wraps and fries are good too.
