We first discovered Annelore's at the Farmers Market and loved it so we made the trip to Cary. Oh my! We wanted to try everything and everything we tried was great. Service is extraordinary and the bakery was spotless. This is a true gem!
Best bakery i’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. I live about 35-40 minutes away and take the drive often to treat myself and my family to this super yummy german bakery. The bee sting is my favorite thing to get, it’s has the perfect amount of sweetness! If you want to visit this place, make sure to go soon after opening for the best selection. Ive noticed they never have pretzels for sale because of how fast people buy them up.
Very yummy! Clean and organized store with lovely service. Their baked goods were delicious but are much better when warmed up at home than if eaten room temperature from the store. I wish they had an option to warm them up for you in store.
Authentic German fare. Staff/owners are very pleasant and helpful and often share stories about traditions in Germany. Baked goods are tasty, but a little pricey.
The items we did try were pretty good, but their selection of authentically German items was much smaller than I had hoped, and the prices are 3 to 4 times what I can pay other places for the same things. Not worth the inflated pricing.
Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Had the potato bacon cheese turnover and the blueberry kuchen, both perfectly baked and delicious. Took home a Black Russian pumpernickel loaf, crust very thick and the crumb tasted wonderful. The owner got us turnovers from the back so they would be the perfect temperature, which they were. Will absolutely be ordering a cake from here for our next big occasion
We were in here the past week and NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON working up front or in the back was wearing a mask. NOBODY!! We're almost two years into a major pandemic and people STILL don't get it or simply STILL don't care. Walking through the door and seeing this was like them giving us the middle finger. We quickly bought some items and left and will not be back again. There's no excuse for this kind of behavior. Wear your damn masks!!! We won't be back. You've lost our business forever.

All the things my husband grew up having during the Holidays. The Owner and staff are all courteous, friendly and smiling. I drove an hour and it is worth the drive. Beautiful edible works of art, fresh gingerbread, cookies and scones. The parking lot extends behind the store, just follow your nose. I can't wait to bring my husband.
