Definitely the best place for Lunch buffet after Corona!Been to almost all south india restaurants that offer buffet, this place definitely come in the top 3.Wide variety of dishes on Sunday lunch buffet. Another important observation is that they constantly filling the items. One area to improve in my opinion is desert section ?
One of the worst Indian restaurants I have ever been to in the whole US. We ordered biriyani and it tasted like they used matta rice to cook it(as you see from the picture). There was no taste of biriyani to be honest. Would never ever come back.
I had a mixed experience here. In veg paneer chilli was awesome, chole bhature was awesome but in non veg we had the worst chicken dum biryani. It was biryani less boiled rice more. You can prefer this restaurant for veg food.
Great place if you are craving South Indian food. You should visit them on a weekend for the lunch buffet which is worth every penny.Amazing variety of dishes for a non-vegetarian, although they do have vegetarian options. It is busy during the weekend but the staff manages the crowd brilliantly.Must try dish: Madras Lamb curry
Great location, ambience, outdoor seating, clean. Delicious south and North Indian food and flavors!!
So far the best Buffet with great taste.
We were looking for a place to eat, when we stumbled across this place. It seemed as it would close soon, but they made an exception and let us sit down. We were pretty new to Indian cuisine, but we ordered butter chicken, goat biryani, and another dish I seem to be unable to remember. Their service wasn't exceptionally slow, but we were waiting for around 20 minutes even though there was only one other group of people in the restaurant. However, we soon got our food, and it was delicious, I highly recommend stopping by and we will definitely come again.
Worst place ever now. Prices have gone up, service quality has gone down. Last 4 orders I am missing items, key items to the dishes we ordered. We as a family have ordered over 30 times from here over the last few years and truly loved it. Not sure what management is doing here or if it was sold - do not order food from here. Many other better places in Cary Morrisville area.Attached is a picture of the dosa I received with no sumbar or chutney. I had to literally throw it in the oven to be somewhat edible.I call them and all I get is sorry we messed up. No refund, no order replacement. Unreal.Never will I give this restaurant my business.
The best dosas I've had in this area! Delicious food and great customer service! The staff goes above and beyond in recommending items, accommodating requests and adding extras. The dining space is spacious and you don't feel like you are sitting on top of one another. The food takes longer to come out than I like, but it's understandable because the food is fresh and it's always packed at Anjappar. Can't wait for my next meal there!
Food is tasty. We ordered take out. First time, we ordered 2 curries we got them in the same big container. Second time we ordered the same curries, we got one in a smaller container for the same price. You can see the photo for comparison. Thanks for the feedback. I ordered the same Boneless chicken masala Curry twice. First time, it came in the 24oz container. Second time it came in 16oz container.
