Best little stop over before or after the airport, passing through, or if you live near!! Great food, friendly atmosphere, and awesome daily specials! Ask for the best and hardest working bartender around, Brooke!!
We a dinner over my birthday, the restaurant has one’s of the most beautiful atmosphere in the area . The customer service is excellent.. everything is carefully clean and personal is very polite. Food is great but personally had better expectations. The paella was an experiment but is not a real paella.. the flavors are very distantly of Spanish food . I’m from miami and I recommend continues working and for sure will be successful. My best wishes for this wonderful restaurant and their staffs. Thank you for made me feel my especial day wonderful!
Nice, tight menu. I am not a big fan menus with a hundred items on it. Other restaurants could learn a thing or two from this place on having 20 or so refined and delicious items that can't miss. Service both the times I visited was impeccable. Greeted with a welcome and a smile at the door and treated like family. Nice selection of cocktails as well. Recommend!
This place is wonderful! I love the outdoor aesthetic, the food was fantastic, the manager Joe is very kind. I will definitely be returning and I highly recommend it!
Recommended by a friend and will be forever indebted to them. The food and atmosphere are absolutely lovely. I had a salad with crab cakes and let me tell you - they are the best ones I have ever had. Adam served us and was so attentive and interesting!! Also met the owner, who seems like the most genuine guy. Came for the crab cakes, stayed for Adam. All around an incredible experience.
We were two couples dining outside on a pleasant June evening -- very pleasant setting for outside dining. The pleasant wait staff was top notch, and the level of service was very high. The food was okay but nothing was particularly special. Arugula/beet salad was not bad, just had no character. My entree of mussels was okay somewhat disappointing overall. They seemed overcooked and the sauce, a red-pepper-like cream sauce, just seemed to overpower the mussels. Carrot cake for dessert was fair but had much more very sweet tasting icing than actual cake.
Love this place! Highly recommend.
We had a very pleasant lunch at this bistro. It was our first time there. Adam is an exemplary waiter. We cannot praise him enough. His description of the menu items, the service he provided, his professionalism and politeness, his attitude... just outstanding. My arugula & beet salad and my wife's Mediterranean panini exceeded our expectations. They were delicious. We will be back for sure.
We stopped by here for a drink on our way to dinner elsewhere. The staff was really friendly--the hostess was nice from the start and we were met by Becca and Brooke at the bar where we had a wonderful glass of Bordeaux and an Old Fashioned. As someone visiting from Texas, I have to say this was just such a nice experience as I was made to feel right at home...Southern hospitality at its finest. I'm definitely going to return and have dinner here with my wife when she comes with me next time in a few months--my sis just moved here so I'm enjoying the visits and the area. Loved the vibe of this gem we stumbled upon!
Our couples group has been to Academy Street Bistro 3 times. Menu has a great selection, seafood is excellent, our group has tried almost everything on the menu and it is all great. We met Joe the owner on our last trip, what a great guy. Ambiance inside and out is great.
