Please change your nasty 50 year old spaghetti sauce recipe. It’s nasty. I couldn’t doctor it enough MAKE Itilian spaghetti sauce with flavor. I’m surprised you still have this nasty sauce. I’ve been in the restaurant business over 40 years. You really need to learn how to make a real spaghetti sauce.

An impressive steak served on a sizzling hot platter as it is calibrating to your desired temperature. For a minute, I was fooled thinking someone behind me had ordered fajitas? Scarlet my server, politely landed my delicious and huge T-bone steak perfectly in front of me. Her service was above and beyond! There is nothing silent about the hush puppies, ? uniquely made delicious nice and hot crispy hand made with sweet corn meal. This dive definitely goes back sixty years as the bright old school neon sign on it’s roof top, illuminates the invitation to come right in! The Golden hour settles nicely in your dusk’s hunger for sure.
Poor, inconsistent service. Food often is cold, especially when larger parties are served. Example of food issues: when you order a ham steak, you get a thin slice of ham...one of maybe three you'd put on a meager, small ham sandwich. Wait staff come off as disorganized and not trained well.

This place is very nostalgic and I think that’s the reason it gets most of its business. Not bad food at all, but nothing exciting either. I rarely find a place that can cook a medium steak and this place is no different. It’s obvious that this place used to be the only one if it’s kind in town for awhile and that developed the loyal customers that come back years and years later. I will only be back if one of my families elders request to eat here.
