OK...let me start with the only reason Im giving this place 2 stars is because the customer service was excellent. The young ladies taking our order were very friendly and made sure we were good once we got our food. I got the chicken nachos and it was alright, the queso cheese was the best part of this meal. The wings are good only if you take them home and finish cooking them. The wings were tough, not easy to pull off the bone, and lacked favor. However, the onion rings and fries were fresh and tasty. I was disappointment with our food because the reviews for this place were great.
Our family decided on TMR for lunch after a baseball game. We aren't from the area so we were thrilled to find this place and for the food to be so good. Excellent BBQ, shredded chicken sandwich, wings, chicken salad, and sides were enjoyed by my family. Highly recommend to anyone local or passing through.
This is what we chose to try on Mother's day (evening). I had Pulled pork with Eastern style sauce. This was the best thing. I also had chicken wings that were hard and unseasoned, fried okra was normal, but baked beans from a can in my cabinet tastes better than theirs. My daughter was very disappointed too.. This was my first and last trip here.
The food was great, only problem is the seating. The tables are to close with it still being a pandemic. My family was eating and another family came in and tried to sit directly behind us when there where plenty of other open seats. The area we where sitting in was already tight but to have a family of 4 try to basically sit on top of use was a bit much.
I would Drive 30 minutes for this BBQ again, best I have had in years! The smoke flavor was amazing. I had the chicken que with bbq slaw and my boyfriend had pork with Cole slaw we both we very pleased ? Clean and Friendly staff as well
Been coming here for a few years and have watched it become the new favorite BBQ spot in Burlington. Don’t waste your time at the local old school chain spot and instead come here for an elevated and modern experience. You won’t be disappointed. The owner is super involved in the community as well.
Great ribs and pulled pork. They offer traditional and cinnamon sugar hush puppies. Preferred the regular slaw to the BBQ slaw. Sweet tea is excellent sold by cup or by gallon jugs. Kids portions are perfect. Mac and cheese was cheesy and well seasoned.
EXCELLENT Barbecue and that speaks volumms since I'm from Texas!My great, big pulled pork sandwich and was really tender and juicy and the bun was fresh. The coleslaw was sweet and crisp. The staff is courteous and efficient and the dining room is large and sparkling clean.Y'all will really enjoy it!
I ordered 1 half rack and 2 full racks I pint of beans I pint of potato salad and 1 pint of stew........it cost me $90.65 I ordered onion rings also which I never got. The food was "ok" but not worth the price I paid for it. I could have had ribeye steak for that price.
Sliced brisket plate was super tender and juicy. 6 wings with sweet heat sauce surprised us how delicious they were. Great small BBQ joint!!!
