This establishment has been a family favorite for years. But only for the food. Everyone raves about the other "hot dog place" in town, but I think Skids II had them beat, hands down.The service on the other hand goes a little something like this: our food speaks for itself, take it or leave it. Most of the staff that have been there forever act like they've been there forever. And not in a warm positive friendly way. There seem to be some newer faces in the past year or so, that have livened up the service a little bit, making it more enjoyable to stop by.
They have the best cheese fries ❤️, great customer service.
Do yourself a favor and order this: breaded chicken sandwich basket with pickles, lettuce, mayo, and ketchup. Add some tots to the side and you’ll be sitting pretty. Trust me!
Great local burger place. Been eating here for years. Staff is great and the good is also. Definitely a good local spot for a quick bite.
Went for the chilli dogs, which were just as good as my hometown's. I love that it's still a mom and pop diner setting, and we didn't wait long for our food at all. The gentleman who served us was very friendly and did a great job with our table. Great food and customer service. We will be back!
Longtime yummy comfort food and it could use a good cleaning but our entire family and friends have always overlooked it and supported this business for decades. A LOT of decades. However, there’s an employee who’s gone off the deep end with his political zeal, wears a hat that is a well known filthy euphemism for an obscene political slur. He will also freely give you his opinion, looks for any opportunity to do it. So unprofessional. Hot dogs with a BIG side order of politics isn’t quite as tasty.
One of the best service experiences since rebounding from all that's been going on. Service was top notch, food is always good. Highly recommend for that shop local theme.

This is definitely out of town for me, but it is in my delivery area and whenever im in Burlington this is my favorite lunch destination. A great Diner, drive in and dives old fashioned full sized menu spot. I love the twin hamburger basket..the food is hot, fries gokden brown, prices are affordable, staff is pleasant and polite. All around winner, im gettin hungry now, cant wait to go back!!
