I remember going here years ago and being so full afterwards I couldn't think straight. Now, its like a snack with the portions. They will give you a whole garden of onions though. Takes up all the space where the real food should be. Think I'll take a break from here for a while.
Their food is awesome, but if they say itll be ready in 20 minutes it means 45 minimum. One time I apllied that rule, still waited another hour at the register, and listened to the waitress say more cuss words and talk about all the things "she aint doin" because the dishwasher refuses to retire. Apparently it was his fault somehow.But we just called them on 3 different phones 30 minutes before they closed and each time the same girl answered, said the store name twice, and immediately hung up like it was a bad call. It was an obvious ploy to discourage any more taleout orders. It didnt surprise me one bit sadly.. I think Im done with them.
Absoulty disgusting and, very little food for your money.. Customer service is the worst! Never again!! Don't deserve this 1 star but, for the post
I’ve been to this location multiple times & I always order the same thing (hibachi chicken, hibachi chicken & rice). I usually don’t have a problem other than occasionally waiting an extra 20-30 minutes past the time the food should be done. But today was the last straw for me. I get home & the plates were only half full. I’ve never received a plate like this & I order here often. Instead of trying to make it right, they argue with me over the phone. I tried to ask for a refund but the guy kept saying that’s a full plate over & over. I did not want to drag my kid back out & drive 15 minutes just for them to look at my plates. Will never be ordering from this restaurant again. Very unprofessional
Wont eat here ever again. I was cussed out by a waitress when checking out. She got frustrated when splitting the bill. She then proceeded to cuss me out and say extremely hostile things towards me in front of everyone in the restaurant, while the rest of the staff stood behind the counter giggling amongst each other. Worth the time and money to go elsewhere as the waitresses working there seem to have issues with explosive anger. I have never in my life been spoken to the way the lady checking me out spoke to me.
Waitresses are bunch of ?. Slow, cant keep up with anything, can’t stay off their phones, unhygienic, and extremely rude. Better food and service can be found at a myriad of other restaurants in Burlington.
Worst Japanese food and terrible service. First, I had to call twice; I was put on hold immediately both times. I phoned from inside my work, and my GPS stated a 6-minute drive. I was on hold the entire time, and I walked in still on hold. The girl at the counter gave me a lot of excuses which were all very unprofessional. The place had 2 customers in it - that's it! After waiting 25-minutes for our food, it was of poor quality, if was small amounts, and it was not what we ordered. The Hibachi steak and shrimp wasn't Hibachi at all, just grilled. The Hibachi steak was little tid bits as if you were feeding a child bites or even your pet, and it was cooked medium-well instead of medium-rare. The rice was just steamed rice, no egg, nothing. The vegetables were only onions, and the salad was so chintzy it was pathetic. The Hibachi chicken also ordered was not hibachi, and they were miserly with the chicken. You could tell the food was of cheap and poor quality. They charged me the wrong prices as well. My friend and I will never go back, and I cannot recommend this place.
Food was good! Service not so much! She never came back to the table our entire meal! Also Had to go to the counter to get a drink refill!
3/11.22 called 8n 3 times to be told we would have to hold and they laid the phone down. Was hung up on 1 time. The hold was over 5 minutes first time. Was hung up on after 2 minutes. And 3rd time held for over 5 minutes and I hung up. We called take out at a different Japanese restaurant. Your employees are rude.
Not a fan. Waited over an hour for food, that was ultimately cold. Had to go to counter for refills. Table who came in 30 minutes after us served before us. Servers were clueless, mixing up orders, and tables. Staff on their phones as opposed to waiting on paying customers. Will not be returning.
