Occasions did my wedding at the Loft at Congdon yards. Ms. Elois and her staff were super nice and helpful when selecting the menu. They delivered on time, and the food was so good. My guests kept asking all night who fixed the food. Especially my mom. And my Momma is hard to please. We have tried other caterers but Occasions has been the best by far.
Such a delicious buffet!! The best Mac & Cheese and fried chicken in town! Love that we go once a month with our church! The staff is friendly and helpful!!

I try to eat at Occasions for lunch at least 1-2 times a month for lunch. There are those that will knit pick and complain about a few items here and there, but overall, especially for a buffet, this is quality food. The fried chicken, Mac n Cheese, meatloaf, and Salmon Pattie’s are all very exceptional. Most of the sides are solid too. Cornbread muffins are sweet and on point. The owner is very gracious and waits on staff even at her older age. Like everywhere else there may be a few items that aren’t as tasteful or appealing but everyone has a different taste pallet. It’s simple, straight forward cooking that tastes good. It’s worth going to, plus it’s a local business!

Occasions is one of my favorite places to get soul food on the go. The buffet is clean , with gloves and hand sanitizer handy. I will definitely be returning to try more great eats.
