We had the popcorn shrimp and it was delicious and way more than we could eat. Our local Mayflower closed years ago so this was a special treat for us!!
Manager was RUDE...Hung up on me and then pick up order she say I was yelling. I was talking to mom who is hearing impaired then she gets smart with her!!They don't honor what is on the special...The Manager name is Rachel...y'all have lost my business and I drove 30 mins!!
At least once a month I just have to have a flounder plate with slaw, hush puppies and a glass of sweet tea. If I am at the doctor's office or have business at the hospital, this is where I go. Order up, pay...and it's not going to take long. If you want to dine in, that's. okay too.
The food was absolutely horrible! The combination plate with scallops, oysters and Flounder. It was 1895! It came with coleslaw, and a baked potato. I chose to get the sweet potato and they gave me a regular one that would have been fine if it was the only problem we have! The scallops were my world and the wasters were so long that they were as hard as rock! And I am not being sarcastic when I say that we could not chew them! The Flounder was paper thin! I told our waitress about it oh, by the way she was the only get experience we had that night. The manager came over to our table and asked what was going on and we informed her of it she told us that since no one else in the restaurant had complained that was nothing she could do for us except ask us to come back another time and try it again!???♀?? we spent $68 for food we could not even eat half!!??
I was at the Restaurant forfirst time Friday service was great. And the foodcame out hot. I recommend this place to anybody I will definitely be back. I am from New Jersey and moved to North Carolina best fish restaurant I know
Excellent service, and a great price for awesome food. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable; our waitress was very helpful and attentive. I love mayflower, and this is the closest one at 20 mi away from us. However, thanks to the great service we will definitely be back here again!
The food is good and the service is really good. We only go this one once in a while and they are always really nice to us.
Food was horrible!!! I don't see how this place could have any stars!!! That was called a crab cake in the picture!!! Never!!!!???
Food was OK when we finally got correct (left out one entire plate and all cole slaws) and complete order. Oysters were non-existent on seafood plate. Got two very small and a few breading crumbs. Crab was really good. Ordered take-out and got charged for boxes to put food in. Not sure how else you're supposed to get take-out, unless you bring your own plate and box. Service has gone downhill, although one of the employees was very professional and apologetic for the bad service. If we come back, it will be because of her professionalism. We definitely will not do take-out again if they're going to nickel and dime us for a to-go box. Surprised they didn't charge us for the bag to put it in too...
Everything was delicious, food was hot, service was excellent. Staff was very courteous to us and kept making sure we were enjoying ourselves
