TOgo CUSTOMERS are As important AS DINE IN CUSTOMERS!!!!Walked in, waited in the line that had the most food. Then it was my turn to order food. The lady who served the salad asked me "what would you like?" To which I responded "I need 4 Togo boxes." To which she said "the lady who is next to me will help with that. My post is the salad bar." Yet the Togo boxes were right behind her in the window sill.The next lady - I asked her for four Togo boxes. To which she shook her head side to side (as if she was no) and complained to the salad bar lady about getting those Togo boxes. AGAIN THEY WERE RIGHT BEHIND THEM!!! The she skipped over me and asked the lady who was behind me what she wantedI was appalled, so much so that I complained to the manager about this. Out of all the kw cafeteria restaurants I've been to, this was by far the worst Togo experience EVER!!!I rarely stop by here. But if I do and, if I go through this again, i will document this permanently. Let this review be the first record of this.....
I love K&W! I have loved it all of my life. My mom used to take us to another location for Sunday dinner years ago. Now I take my grandbabies. I love that the staff always remembers us and shows us so much love. Everyone is so nice and goes above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. Ms. Ava is heaven sent to my grandkids and we all just adore her. ♥️
Food looked like it had been sitting out for hours, gravy looked hard, no fresh mashed potatoes and the what was there was all dried up, salad was wilted and some of the lettuce was brown. When I commented on this I was looked at like oh well. Definitely won’t be returning
The food is Always good and professional staff.
All five of us enjoyed the food. I had a county style steak with rice and sides of string beans and fried okra. Ordered the string beans and okra in take out cups so I could easily take their leftovers home. However the fried okra was so crispy and good that I ate it all. We arrived late for lunch service with an hour wait but had a good time talking with us and others.
I ordered a pecan pie and it was liquid form it was not even set like traditional pie. I don’t know if you have ever tasted liquid pecan pie but it taste like death. lol the fish was so soft it gad no texture like mushy. even the potato salad had begun to turn to mush . not trying to give too much info but let’s just say I’ve been in the bathroom for quite some time.
My first time here. It was absolutely great food & great friendly servers across the board from the time we entered until we left. I look forward to coming back the next time I'm in Mebane.
The whitefish was excellent. Service also excellent. I wish the two KW cafeterias in our area were not closed last year. We really miss them.
Best Chicken Fingers ANYWHERE?????! I don't know how they prepare them but the taste and crispness are unique, I travel a lot around the country and well, no others have compared. Pick your choice of dipping sauce and have at it, there just great ?. Great staff wonderful down home food, what more could you ask for. ?
very disappointed with the staff and food waitress and waiters was the only thing good the older lady at the salads waited on us she was good the others wanted stand around and talk and have attitude
