First taste Chinese was a great find In the area. I’m picky about trying out new places. Luckily I was able to read a couple reviews which lead me to First Taste. The General Taos chicken was excellent. Love the sauce and the fact the chicken was not heavily breaded. I will be coming back to this restaurant in the near future. I would recommend trying first taste Chinese restaurant out if you’re in the area.
great chinese take-out at reasonable prices. call your order in ahead if possible; they were really busy.
First time here, I ordered Moo Goo Gai Pan. It was pretty good. I’ll come back again sometime and try more food. Service was fast and they were friendly.

I'm not an objective judge of food. It's hard for me to say, "this is better than that", etc. I think there are other things to take into account, like, how hungry am I? Am I in the mood to eat that right now? How much did it cost? How was it presented? What are my expectations? I think a ratio of two of these considerations often gives me the overall impression of if I liked or didn't like something. Like, was the food delicious, but overpriced? Was the food greasy, but cheap? With this particular Chinese restaurant, it was the contest between expectation and experience. Picking up the food gave me reason for pause, the place was just...janky. The combination of the ceiling almost falling down, coupled with the odd assortment of arcade games and broken candy dispensers in the lobby did not give me a good feeling. But then you get handed a MASSIVE bag of food and think, how much did I pay for all this? And then you eat it. I think the beef couldn't have been more tender. Amazing orange chicken. I had never tried egg foo young before, but I'm a believer now. Great classic fried rice and pork lo mein. The hard thing now is, will you be able to eat here and temper your expectations after reading this? Maybe you'll be better than I and just enjoy it for what it is: great, classic Chinese food at a reasonable price.
Like, seriously best Chinese chicken in alamance county .. Staff was friendly, dinning in area clean restroom clean Cheff staff were fast clean. I've been coming to this restaurant for 10+ yrs no complaints. Thank you
