After reading all the great reviews of course here I am. For starters we waited for over an hour. It was only one person working up front. Which she was trying her best to handle all the up front operations. Already my friend told me the Mac and cheese was nasty. Yet I ordered it and it taste like elbow noodles with cheese wiz and shredded cheese. The collards didn’t have no seasoning at all. And the chicken was crispy. Portion size was good. It was lots of flies in there so trying to swat flies and eat was just too much.
I am only disappointed that I didn’t find this place sooner! I stopped in for dinner just 20 minutes before closing. The staff was beyond friendly, the wait time was under 10 minutes (to go) and my food was hot and FRESH. I ordered the garlic parm wings with Mac and collards and everything tasted AMAZING and was packed with flavor. Including the hot and sweet cornbread. I will definitely be back!

The best soul food in town! This restaurant was featured on the Black Owned Restaurants list during the week of April 22- May 1st This is an event that we attend yearly. The ambiance was great. Great music, Great service, Great food! We definitely chose the right one this year! We traveled 45 minutes away and it was worth it! And please don't forget the Oreo Cheesecake....AMAZING....definitely going back!
I just read a post talking crazy. We absolutely love the cabbage. Please, please Ms. Pat do not put bacon or mushrooms in your cabbage. My family loves that you all don’t serve pork and season with turkey. We bought 5 banana puddings yesterday and the entire family loved it. No it’s not baked but the owner never said it was!!You all keep doing what you’re doing and we will keep coming back. We appreciate the love in the food.
Wow the fried Chicken & Shrimp Alfredo was delicious! So was the Banana pudding and the portions were large. I definitely recommend Big Pat's Soulfood cafe.
This place is amazing!I was hungry while doing my laundry, so I flipped a coin between Big Pat's or the Pho restaurant on the other side of the laundromat.I'm so glad Big Pat's won that coin toss!I ordered the Fried Chicken Alfredo, and a side of Mac & Cheese. Everything tastes so delicious!The customer service was absolutely fantastic as well.I will definitely be eating here again, and 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend this place to others.
My husband and I stopped by pat’s today 4/5/22 for our first time, an got the wings (everything sauce) with collards an Mac n ? …let me just say everything was BOMB‼️ Definitely 10/10 highly recommend. we will definitely be BACK!!!!
I rarely leave feedback for anything, but this is The BEST! This is the real deal. I got the Fish, Mac & Cheese, and Collards and it was absolutely fantastic! Do not hesitate to try. I know I will definitely be back.
