Came off the Blue Ridge Parkway to visit this diner and I am pleased I did. Friendly staff and had a really tasty fish sandwich with side of cooler slaw. Music was spot on diner
During our vacation, we stopped in. I got a cheeseburger, so did my son and husband and it was delicious. My parents got the hamburger steak and gravy, and the Asian chicken sandwich and they really enjoyed it. We were all stuffed and couldn't finish it all. I'm sad I didn't get to try any dessert lol. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great! Our waiter was nice as well.
We really enjoyed our meal tonight. The service was extremely friendly and attentive and the food was great. Excellent French fries.
Awesome place for the real 'American' experience!??.... Really nice and welcoming folk. I could literally drink a tank of their Apple Juice and ask for more ??. Passing through Boone? Please stop by for an awesome dining experience.
Stopped here for dinner on our way south of Boone on 105. The service was great! I had the country fried steak with gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans. This was the most delicious country fried steak I've ever had and the mashed potatoes are real, not instant. We liked it so much we returned the next morning for a delicious breakfast and equally great service. I would highly recommend this diner to anyone who enjoys good diner food. We didn't have dessert, but the shakes and sundaes we saw looked yummy!
This is a must stop if you are in Boone north Carolina. The food was great, and the service was great. My family really enjoyed the milkshakes. Mmm.... The place is clean, and the decor gives it a true old time diner feel.
I love vintage style diners and while visiting in town with family, we had to stop in and eat. The vibes here were immaculate. Portions were huge, food was cheap and tasty. Old school rock music nonstop here! If you're visiting Beech Mountain you have to stop by.

My husband and I and our 3 kids came here for dinner. We were treated poorly and were shocked at how disrespectful the owner/manager (?) was. Would not recommend.
