ODB always has some of the best food in Boone. Please take a break and support these guys for lunch. This time around I got the ham and goat cheese… amazing. I recommend getting the marinated greens as a side though. They were awesome.

Amazing local spot in downtown. Perfect for lunch! Lots of amazing sandwich choices with some crafted brew options. Def will be stopping by again!

Really good food in Boone, and the selection is great for anyone of almost any dietary needs. They use fresh ingredients and have tasty recipes that feel very inspired. It's usually very crowded and the service/food preparation is occasionally inconsistent, which is why I docked it a star.

I reviewed this spot and gave it a great review in 2017. Have gone frequently when in town since then, but haven’t been in about 2 years due to COVID. Things have changed-and not for the better. I was a bit under the weather and wanted the soup/1/2 sandwich combo. (Grilled cheese on their wonderful bread.) They no longer do the soup/sandwich combo-said I could buy a whole sandwich and add soup for an up charge. Since I didn’t have much of an appetite, I ordered a bowl of soup and said I’d just like bread and butter on the side. (And that I’d be happy to pay for it). She said they didn’t have butter. What??? You serve great bread (bread is literally in your name) with margarine? Then she said it was melted margarine only and I could dip my bread in it. I said to forget the margarine and I would just have soup and bread. When she told me what kind of bread she had, the list sounded a bit different than I remembered. I asked if it was still from Stick Boy or locally sourced. Nope-they get their bread from U.S. Foods. Again, I was surprised. It used to be a great place to get local amazing bread and I would sometimes get bread and/or baked goods to go. The service was so-so. I ate at the bar. I’m sure that the server picked up on the fact that I was disappointed that they didn’t have my drink of choice, butter, couldn’t make me 1/2 of a grilled cheese, and that the bread was from U.S. foods. So, I’ll give her a pass on the curt service. In the end, I paid $10 for a cup of soup (okay, but heavy on the flour in the roux) and some club crackers. Bring back the good bread and serve butter, please! I want to love and support this place again!

Love love love ❤️. Art heart press gives me pure serotonin. Servers are always super kind, my sister and I always come here whenever we both need a break from life. It's a lovely environment. I got my dad pint glasses from here for Christmas and they are his favorite. AND it's relatively cheap!!!!! Highly highly recommend

The food is good, that’s not what I’m rating here. Couldn’t even make an order because they won’t do their sides to go and apparently “management” is cracking down on the use of Togo containers. If you can’t afford to sell your food Togo then don’t have Togo or build a better business model. You lost a customer for life, which probably won’t affect you but I hope you lose more so that you make a change and more people can enjoy your food.

ODB is most likely one of the best sandwich places around. The atmosphere is on point and the food is DELICIOUS!

A Boone native suggested this spot so we took up his recommendation. It was a very busy Saturday! Parking is tough downtown but somehow we ended up being able to parallel right in front- score!Don’t let the many people outside scare you away from putting your name down. The spot is bigger than it looks from the outside- and we were told 20 minutes. It was a little longer than that but no biggie- not in a rush and worth waiting.Service was great- acoustics a bit loud if you’re noise sensitive. The bass for an afternoon lunch a bit intense. The food was very good- I got the butternuts squash bisque- very smooth with good flavor. The basil press also intrigued me and I got- another thumbs up for the flavor. Daughter got minestrone- it was good and standard. Wouldn’t be my first soup pick.We would definitely return.

Just had lunch for the first time here and everything was wonderful the sandwiches and the Potato Salad was yummy. The young man that serviced us was Zach McDermott we wanted to thank you for your wonderful service and attention. Being restaurant owners At Southern Scoops in Jefferson we recognize and appreciate good service.

Unfortunately I forgot to wear my Doc Martin's. Other than that it was pretty dam good. The soup and sandwich was outstanding. It's on King Street, you'll enjoy the walk to and fro as well.
