We got in quickly with minimal waiting after trying 2 other places that each had a 30-45 minute wait. I'm actually glad we ended up here! Our server was nice and attentive. We had the cheese bread for an appetizer and the House Special pizza. Both were excellent!
Our group of 9 had great service and delicious food today! I hate that I can’t remember our Servers name, she was awesome and didn’t miss a beat. I’m sorry! Highly recommend the spinach and artichoke dip, bruschetta and soft pretzel appetizers! Everything we ordered was yummy! Cool atmosphere too! :-)
Very good pretzels and pizza, nice interior, quite a bit larger than the Winston-Salem location. I thought dough was better in Winston for some reason. Maybe I'm crazy. It wasn't bad, it just seemed...different. Overall, an excellent meal, great customer service. No wait on a busy Friday afternoon.
I am a big fan of the Mellow Mushroom chain. I first visited one in Raleigh NC with my daughter that was going to NC State. I have also visited the location in Wilmington NC on a few occasions. I have to say that this location in Boone did not disappoint at all. I would say that they were above the quality of the other Mellow Mushrooms that I have visited, and Mellow Mushrrom is definitely head and shoulders above any other pizza place that we have tried! The service was amazing, and very friendly! Job well done to the Boone location. If you are visiting Boone and looking for great food, I definitely recommend Mellow Mushroom on King Street in Boone, NC
A very decent dining option in Boone, NC. The Veggie Out Pizza was our group favorite. Copious amount of toppings on a very tasty crust. The BBQ chicken pizza was on the sweeter side and clearly didn't cut out. The mushroom soup was just okay, not the kind you would expect at a restaurant.Overall a very decent experience. Would visit here again.
Mellow Mushroom is always a good meal. My kids enjoyed their pizza and we had a good meal. My only qualm is the price. Gah! I feel like we spend close to $50 for pizza everytime and we could get it for so much less. This location is nicely decorated and clean!

MM in Boone is one of the nicest and coziest MM I have seen. The stone work, open concept and giant fireplace in the middle of the restaurant made it feel super comfortable inside. Our server was great and the food was delicious. So good in fact, that I even forgot to take pics!! Avocado smash was fresh and delicious. And our pizza was hot with a crispy crust. So good!!
This place was really good and food was amazing but the service was slow everything else was amazing.
First time going to a Mellow Mushroom, and it was fantastic! I got the Italian Hoagie and would definitely recommend it to anyone who has thought about trying it. The interior design is awesome and the menus are very cool and fun to look at. The vibes were great and the customer service was just great.
