The Local Liom's coffee and food were great. The atmosphere was really good and service was excellent. Of you are looking for some good coffee and pastries in Boone, this is a place I would definitly reccomend.

The only place we go to for coffee in Boone! Friendly staff, awesome environment and great coffee. Gluten free donuts were AMAZING!! And I'm not even gluten free!
Finally was able to get by here for their Gluten Free Fridays!!! I was nervous because we got there about 1pm & I wasn't sure if they'd have anything left. But they did!! We got a mixed dozen & goodness gracious my belly was happy!!! I haven't had a donut in years & their GF donuts were fantastic!! I personally loved the cinnamon & sugar one the most. Can't wait to go back again!!
I’ve been a customer here going back at least 5 years. Josiah runs an excellent LOCAL coffee and doughnut shop that is delicious. Why go to Starbucks or other Corporate America spots when you can have the real deal and help Boone thrive? A quality spot, quality food and beverage, and friendly staff who want to get to know you! Did I mention this place is LOCAL?
I heard about this coffee shop from a friend. It was absolutely Incredible. Natalie the Barista was extremely kind, and helped my husband and I find exactly what we wanted. Amazing!!!
Wonderful coffee and their glazed donuts are to die for. Always come in the morning when it's hot and fresh. Everyone is extremely polite and even remember my regular orders! The gentleman that helped me today, Henry I believe his name is, encouraged me to get out my comfort zone and even recommended me a new drink to try! Awesome service and will be back!

Coffee is great. Check out the donuts too! The atmosphere is perfect for sitting down to work for a couple of hours. Hooray for a good local spot in Boone!
Local Lion is a must, whether you're a local, or just visiting from out of town. The drinks are brilliantly & deliciously concocted, & their doughnuts are incredible. It's even better that they support other local small businesses, & charities with their business. I will absolutely be patronizing this bakery café every time I find myself in Boone, NC ?
