We came to Boone for a quick day trip, and this place was on my partner’s to-do list. This was a little hole-in-the-wall type place, hidden between a few buildings. As soon as we walked in, the barista, greeted us with a huge smile. The cozy decor of the place made us feel as if we were in a small cabin. We ordered a few drinks and the espresso ☕️ had just the right amount of boldness. We went into the upstairs lounge where we hung around for some time. A 10/10 experience, and we will for sure be back next time we visit ?
Espresso News is the kind of coffee shop you’d expect to find in a coming-of-age movie. Their staff are always kind and quick with service, they play some great tunes, and you have two floors of indoor seating to choose from while you wait for your order. Oh, and if you’re looking for recommendations, I’d suggest their iced mochas ?
Cute place with a lot of history. Very friendly staff and delicious coffee & other beverages. Make sure to try the espresso + cherry cola.
Excellent white chocolate mocha, mocha and a drip coffee. All were great, only to be out done by the best ever banana bread. Great, friendly efficient service. Nice atmosphere. Finding the place. and parking con be challenging.
Small, smelly. (Probably due to the disgusting back alley it's in, with garbage everywhere.) Struck me as very unsanitary. The staff were very judgemental. As well the coffee was not brilliant.

This is based on a customer service, we didn't get to try the coffee. 'Company policy' that you can't order a coffee without a mask!!! And people are sitting inside few feet from us without a mask!! OMG what an ignorance! So you walk in with a mask, order and sit down, take the mask down and you're 'protecting' others lolllNot getting our money, for sure. We drove 1.6 miles to this other wonderful coffee place where a coffee and customer service are excellent!!!
Thank you for being open when everything else was closed due to Storm Izzy. First time here but def not my last. Cappuccino was on point. I find it difficult to find many places that can make a good cappuccino. Iced coffee was very tasty. Dogs enjoyed their puppachinos ?❄️ ☕️. Kudos !!
