Decent burgers! Not very special unless you buy extra topping to add. The free toppings included lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions and Come Back Shack sauce, but the burger felt like it was lacking. Good fries, good sweet tea, and the ranch was excellent. Prices are not too outlandish but you can easily pay more than $10 for a meal here. Overall, 4 stars is fair and I definitely would come back!
Approaching the restaurant, there are orange cones causing you to have to spiral around the restaurant before you can order. Someone was standing outside to take orders in an area with no menu present. We are not from the area, and had no idea what was on the menu. A small menu was presented to us and we ordered the chicken finger combo. I had read good reviews about the chicken fingers, but I was disappointed. First off, I would not categorize these as chicken tenders or fingers as they are not whole pieces. They are more like popcorn chicken. The breading seemed cornmeal-based. When I first open the box, I thought they had given me the wrong order and had given me pieces of corn fried fish. The chicken was over cooked. Instead of being crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside, they were hard and chewy the whole way through. The french fries are the type with the skins left on, which is not my favorite. Also, they were cooked soft, soggy, and limp. The price was also expensive for the quality. All in all, we will not be back.
Combine the menu from Cookout, elevate it, and then add the efficiency of the drive thru at Chick-fil-A. This was fast, reasonably priced, and delicious! The staff was so courteous and patient with these first-timers who naturally lacked menu knowledge and were slower to order. It definitely earns its name. It’s a place you’ll want to “come back” to!
As a chicken finger connoisseur, I've had many a tender from across the country. This place tops PDQ, Zaxby's, Chick Fila, and any other place I can think of. I'm in town for the weekend, but debating coming back because they were so good. I can't wait to return to the Come Back Shack!
I got the local burger and it was delicious! My sister got the come back shack burger and loved that. The burgers aren’t greasy and they taste amazing! The fries are yummy and so is the Nutella milkshake. Also, love their chicken tenders. Definitely going back to this place!
Burgers were out-of-this world. Fries were good. Would have given 5 stars but ordering method was confusing. We asked for help and the young man who came to assist us checked our order and said we had nine items, which is what we ordered. When we picked up our order we had 11 items and were charged for 11. We had 2 burgers over what we were ordering. They were so busy we did not bring to their attention but carried the extras back to our condo to eat later. Food was excellent--some of best Burgess we've ever had but service is lacking.
Long lines, great food, friendly service--in doors service seems to be hit or miss, but the drive through moves pretty swiftly

Not much to say about this place except they make the best burgers in town. I love creating my own burger from their list of ingredients. You just mark off the items you want and they make your custom ordered burger for you in just a matter of minutes. Great pretzels and there special Come Back Sauce is good enough to drink by itself. Love sitting on the patio.
the workers are so kind here!! to order, you have to go to a website and put your card information there. I really recommend their fries, chicken tenders, and lettuce wrap
