We've been slowly trying every pizza place in Boone and we finally got here the other night. Very cool atmosphere and the pizza was great. They have so many unique options. We can't wait to get back and try some more.
This is the only place I think of when I want pizza in Boone. I've eaten and worked with other companies in Boone but they all had reasons for me to not return.i recommend making your own. They will let you design your own from their sauces and toppings and all their pizzas can be had as calzones!Evan and Virginia are the most friendly and interactive business owners I have ever met.Stop once and plan your return
4 stars for the pizza and 5 stars for customer service. We had 5 adults and 4 kids under 7 and our waitress was very helpful and accommodating. There was a mix-up in the kitchen and my pizza would not be coming out with the others so she gave me a slice of what I wanted while I waited. If I lived in Boone, I'd be going more often.
I have not eaten in the restaurant, but we have gotten pizza for pick up and delivery. We have tried a number of their pizzas. They literally have some of the best pizza I have ever had, and also possibly the most disappointing pizza of my life. The best: Big Trouble in Little China is so delicious and unique. The BBQ Chicken pizza is tasty. The worst: Any pizza that has bacon on it, they put wayyy too much bacon. The very worst ever: The margherita pizza was absolutely the worst version of this pizza I have ever had. The rim is literally covered in large chunks of salt. It's my own fault for not reading the menu, I guess. But I have ordered many margherita pizzas from many different restaurants and never encountered this before. Yuck.
My new favorite pizza place!! Seriously top-notch pizza and wings. The Jamaican'me Crazy pizza is soooo good I crave it daily, and the dry rub wings are excellent! The staff is always fun and friendly and the whole atmosphere is abundantly positive. Carolina Pizza Co is doing it right! Make sure you check it out, even if you have to walk a little ways... it's beyond worth it!!! - Sincerely, a passionate pizza lover and connoisseur.
Awesome little find. We had their pimento cheese salad, unlike any we have ever had. Small pizza (The Charlotte) was very good. Awesome service, awesome decor and atmosphere. Will return!
My 6 friends and I had been skiing at App and had come into downtown Boone to eat at Carolina Pizza for lunch. Even though a sign on the door read that they were short staffed and we were eating at the peak of lunch hour, we had an incredible dining experience. They quickly let us slide two tables together & were taken care of so well the entire time. The food never misses and if you’re eating pizza in Boone you’re definitely going to Carolina Pizza Company.
When I was seated I was a bit put off by the seemed lack of air conditioning inside the building. As someone who overheats easily, this caused me a bit of discomfort. However, this is but a minor gripe from a rather unusually hot-rested person like myself.The ambiance here was very welcoming and had the charm you would expect from a local hole-in-the-wall pizza joint.The staff here are friendly and efficient. My drink order arrived very timely and so did my food after it had been prepared. (Standard wait time for pizza, around 20 minutes or so when on the busier side.)Where this place shines is with the pizza. Wow. This is the closest I've had in town to an authentic New York Style pizza pie. The crust underneath the sauce and cheese is crispy but not offensively so, and the outer-lying crust has a wonderful rise with a crunchy bite and a strong aroma of freshly baked dough. The sauce is full of flavor but doesn't overwhelm the generous amount of cheese and toppings on each slice.This is, in my opinion, one of the best places to get pizza in town. Downtown Boone can be hard to find parking accomodations, but all parking meters are free after 5:00 PM each day, so if you want to stop by Downtown Boone for some top-notch pizza, go to Carolina Pizza Company.
I have never been let down by CPC! When I lived in Boone, my friends and I went almost weekly - if not more. The staff is super friendly, and the food is always spot on. I am happy to support this small business that cares so much about the Boone community. A must stop for anyone traveling to Boone!
I cannot say enough good things about the food and staff at CPC, Boone.They are the hardest working people and go above and beyond to make sure their guests are fed and happy.So. Yummy.Great atmosphere.10/10 recommend!!
