The food was awesome but they are short staffed so we had to order at the register and make our own drinks, they did bring our food to our table tho. Over all it wasn't bad. And like I said the food was awesome!!! Best pizza I've had in a long time!!!
We ordered delivery and never been at the restaurant, but the pizza and breadsticks were amazing. It's way above pizza hut or domino's for sure. I'd probably order from there once a week if we had a place like that where I live.
We were going to get just 2 small pizzas, 1 salad (they make it cause they've removed the salad bar. No iceberg lettuce available btw) 2sodas. Was going to be $51.00 !!!!!!! No way! Also no table service and every available table was dirty. We left and went to Barberitos. We ate there for $21 and got very full.
Clearly overwhelmed due to staffing but still kind and patient when talking with customers. Really enjoyed the pizza. The toppings are inside so don’t be surprised if it doesn’t look like what you ordered.
Great food!! We got the Bonnie and Clyde and the Pesto breadsticks and we weren’t disappointed. My girlfriend went to their old location and would rave about this place, I’m glad I finally got to try it!
Great pizza. Looks like a killer little place when they are able to staff. Bar area. The Bonnie and Clyde was phenomenal. Be kind to the crew, drastically understaffed, but very pleasant and the food is well worth any "inconvenience" you may run into. No servers...but not anymore of a wait time than your average pizza hut.Highly recommended if you are in the Boone/Deep Gap area of 421.
Took my family here tonight and had wonderful pizzas and a calzone. Capone's has shifted from a mostly full service restaurant to a seat yourself and order-at-the-counter cafe style to help manage through times of short staffing. We were prepared for a long wait for our food but the wait was just fine. Food was hot and great. Definitely recommended. I assume they will get back to a salad bar when the effects of the pandemic lift. We look forward to having that option again.
If I could 0 stars I would!! All of the butter soaked into and through paper tray plus food tasted like cardboard! We called to let them know and was treated poorly and hung up on we used to spend $27 plus tips a week here not anymore they don't care about the customer or quality of the food!! I have never been talked to so nasty by staff anywhere they refuse to stand behind their food!!
Do NOT order the wings! I can not believe they even sell these!!EDIT: I spoke with one of the owners and he was very nice and willing to make it right. He did say there is a shortage of wings, and they are having a hard time keeping their normal wings in stock. That being said, I would call and ask before ordering and find out which wings they currently have.
Capone's pizza has great pizza, and they definitely do not extort protection money, and definitely does not use the business as a front to launder money. I am a real customer who has eaten the pizza and I think it is the best pizza in the local area.
