We were hot, tired, and in desperate need of cold ice cream after. watching "Top Gun Maverick.". We ended up at B&R because we could not find a Dairy Queen anywhere in the area. (Time for some Dairy Queen franchises to come knocking!!!)We waited a few minutes to place our order because there was a substantial line in front of us.I was disappointed at the small selection of ice creams, partly due to a breakdown of one of the freezer cases. The quality of the ice cream , however, never disappoints although you have to sell your first-born son to afford it.At time to pay, we had to wait a painfully long time for our card to process. Apparently, the POS system is also often on the fritz as it was the day we were there.Owners! Reinvest in your equipment! You have an ice cream store with beleaguered employees trying their darndest to make it all work. Being able to:1. collect the money and2. to have somewhere to keep the ice cream frozen and availableSeem to be pretty essential to the success of your business, don't you think?
I really appreciate that when I inform them that I have Celiac disease, they have an allergen menu so I know which flavors are safe for me, and they use a clean scoop and remove the top layer to make sure my ice-cream is gluten-free.
Employees were very nice. On a busy day, parking could be difficult. I wish there was free parking. I always have to feed the meter.
Ice cream tasted good but service was what made it great.
While my family was being helped I asked b associates if I could try an ice cream flavor. The first young lady simply ignored me, and the second just offered me a cup or cone, no sample. They did let my daughter sample two flavors, so I'm unsure what the issue was. Also, a man came in afterward and the young lady offered for him to sample the ice cream three times. It was absurd.
I don't care for the politics of this company. But the ice cream is great ?
A little hard to get to with the parking in Kings, but it is well worth the visit; several delicious flavors to choose from, friendly staff, and a very well kept store.
LOVE this store!!!We have 3 kids that have gone to/go to App State (GO NEERS!!!) and stopping at Ben and Jerry’s every single time we are up in Boone- it is a huge tradition for our family. Whether it’s 100° or 40°, raining, or shining (or even snowing!!) we stop into B&J’s for our faves!!! One of the best things about it now is coming in to see Kylie-she has got to know our whole crew over the last year or so and always greets us with a sweet smiling face and genuinely asks how the family is doing.See you next time!!!⭐️?⭐️?⭐️
wasnt that impressive to me. they did not have the type of inventory I thought they would. staff was good but wasnt nothing they offer there that made me excited
I had formerly loved to stop in at Ben & Jerry's. Considering they are now anti-Semite, I shall no longer partake
