Had a wonderful dinner with friends. Lots of great food and cocktails. Wonderful and attentive service. Pork Spring Rolls are the bomb!!
Great service and tasty food. We really enjoyed the pork rolls and ended up ordering a second serving! Great tapas spot and definitely recommend!
Such a lovely little spot. Wonderful food and great service. We were visiting Asheville for our 29th Anniversary and loved this restaurant!
Came here with my wife based on a recommendation by a local resident, and we’re glad we did. Mixed drink menu is unique, as is the extensive wine list; a handful of good, local craft brews on tap round out the offerings. Ambience is fantastic, reminiscent of my time living in Spain. Service, both hostess (who called us back in response to our VM reservation request) and server, was pleasant, confident, and professional. Tapas offerings are widely varied and extensive - our server (Taylor) gave us some excellent recommendations, for which we were grateful - all were uniquely delicious. The chocolate desert is very flavorful but not heavy. This restaurant is a bit pricy but highly recommended for those looking for something different and memorable. TIP: Make your reservation as early as possible.
Don't miss it. This is our new favorite restaurant. So much fun to pick the various small plates and share. Loved the outside seating.
The wife and I decided to have diner Tuesday might the 10th of May at this tapas restaurant. We had 6:00 pm reservations an when we arrived we were quickly seated. Theserver Brandon was friendly and efficient. He answered all questions we had. Here is what we ordered; Baby arugulo salad with cherry vinaigerette Smoked grilled octopus with sunchokes and couscous Grilled shrimp with chimichurri sauce HNG beef, pork, and lamb Albondisa Tortilla Espanola Beef Cheek These were all tapas and were all pretty good. We enjoyed the whole meal with a glass of wine for me and a glass of Bold Rock Cider for my wife, We didn't have room for dessert! Total bill before gratuity was $82.39. If you like tapas type dinners; this is recommended!
Great service, great wine list with selections to not break the bank. The gnocchi and pork spring rolls were top! The food came out quite quickly and water was always filled. The mussels were to be desired, great flavor but still...
This is a cool tapas restaurant in downtown Asheville. A perfect place for an intimate dinner and the wine list is deep and stellar. The standout tapas was the Sunburst Farms Trout with garlic chili sauce, serrano ham and Oranges Supreme. The soft savory flavor of the trout contrasted with the salty crispness of the ham. The cheese plate, featuring an assortment of Spanish cheeses, spiced honey and quince jelly was also wonderful. Highly recommended.
Each plate was fantastic and the flavors were well balanced. Especially loved the octopus, mushrooms, and trout. The kitchen knows what they’re doing. Menu cocktails were okay. Our waiter was well versed with the wine list and made an excellent recommendation. Sad to live out of town because I want to try more dishes. Guess we’ll have to make another trip back!
BEST dining experience I've encountered in awhile! Our waitress was amazing and helpful in our selections. The food was delicious and the wine selection incredible! It was my first time, but certainly won't be my last!
