Dope tacos and outside space. Chicken tikka masala, lamb gyro and beef bulgogi tacos are great
I was recommended this place by a friend for a weekend couple's trip to Asheville. It didn't disappoint! My boyfriend and I each got two tacos, chips and salsa, and I also got the street corn salad. It was all delicious and filling. My boyfriend especially enjoyed the variety of salsas offered with the chips. Plus, the servers were friendly, the food came out in mere moments, and the it was worth the value paid. We will certainly return the next time we are in Asheville.
We visited Ashville in Feb. On our way back from FLA , where just the week before we had tacos that we thought where outstanding. Friends told us about White Duck and we were browsing the art galleries in town and came upon WDT. The tacos where many times better than the ones in FLA. Absolutely delicious.! Great price and a laid back atmosphere. If you venture, ( and please do ) we liked all we had but the fish taco and the duck taco were heaven. Go you will happy you did and you won't spend a fortune. We give it, ?????
It’s been a while since I have taken one bite of food and not finished it. Disappointed in the jerk chicken taco. It was merely a dry chicken tender covered in way too much cinnamon and sugar. Not true jerk chicken in the slightest. My words do not even do it justice for just how bad it was. Waste of money.

Jerk chicken and fish tacos were so good! Love the environment, interesting decor inside, plenty of shaded outdoor seating. They had some funky options for tacos but the combination of ingredients made it surprisingly delicious!
Came highly rated to us. We gave it two attempts. We first tried the nachos and sangria- 1/2 the nacho chips were so small we could not use them to dip, and the sangria was pretty gross. The next day we tried the tacos....um, for $5, they leave a lot to be desired. Wish it wasn't true, as we really wanted to like what we got!
When we arrived, the line was snaked through the building and out the door into the parking lot. Fortunately, we weren't in a hurry, and we figured the long line was a good sign. The menu offers a ton of different tacos, including several vegetarian options. Once we ordered at the counter, the food came out super fast. The chips and salsas were yummy and so were the tacos. Even with the long line, there was plenty of seating indoors and out. I'd definitely eat here again when visiting Asheville.
Tacos are super good! There are tacos for everyone here whether you are vegetarian, Vegan or a meat eater… there is something delicious for everyone! Highly recommend starting by sharing the Salasa and Chips then getting your tacos. Parking is easy even if you are traveling with a trailer. If you are traveling w/dogs there’s a abundance of outside seating by the beautiful French Broad River and if you would like to get out of the elements there is inside seating!
Wide variety of choices, most everyone will tell you everything is excellent in this case everyone is right. We had the Fish taco, Lamb gyro, Mole Roasted Duck, and the Steak-N-Cheese. 13/10 on all for sure.
