The place was clean, the table particularly so. However the over medium eggs I ordered were not only slimy but the white was clear. They had to remake them. Hash browns were way over cooked, and the waffle was cold. Not a good experience. And I am a Waffle House Fan, as is my wife. We went to a new one yesterday and it was five star, this one, again a new one, not so much so.
One of the best visits to a Waffle House in a long time. The staffers usually make or break it. Mrs Kim and the crew did well.
50/50 chance of a good cook. 25/75 chance of a bad waiter or waitress. But 4 out of 5 days of the work week they run like a well oiled machine over there.
Peanut butter waffles. Love it same as all waffle houses. Food was good just waffle houses aren't allowed five stars
Let me set the scene: It’s 12am. Just got off work. There’s very slim pickings for food. McDonald’s, maybe Ingles.. but WAIT!! the good ole, always open 24/7, trusty waffle house!I call the store, mouth already salivating in expectation of that greasy deliciousness. I heard the tell-tale click of someone picking up the landline from the receiver. I’m anxious - Are they going to judge me for my late night I-hate-myself-and-clearly-don’t-value-my-health meal? Alas, I’ll never know.. because the phone was slammed back onto the receiver with same quickness I employed when dialing the number.That was a failure. Okay. Time for Plan B.I decided to come to the store and order.When I arrived, I noticed a serious lack of vehicles in the lot. There’s only one. That being me, myself, and I. I make my way to the door. Grab the handle. It is locked. The associate mimes the signal reminiscent of throat cutting to indicate they are closed.I’m confused. My good ole trusty Waffle House has finally let me down. Closed? Can’t believe it! But why? Waffle House is known for their standard of being open when nothing else is. Even in a blizzard. I’m even more vexxed because I don’t understand how this employee is making a meal on the grill for themselves if they are truly closed. Now, granted, I did mention the lack of cars, and this gentleman IS here by himself.But if it’s truly closed… why is he here at all?I suspect I’ve been deceived in order for someone to lighten their load. How unfortunate.
This location is closed more than it is open anymore. I understand emotes shortages but this seems to be the only location that is still having this problem. My advise to anyone e reading this is to not waist your time. Go to different location.
I have no problem waiting when a place is busy. We sat down and several servers walked by us about 10 times. We continued to wait. The last straw was when a server came and got silverware that was right in front of us and went to the table next to us who just got there. It was the same server who just cleaned that table and had made eye contact with me when we got there.
Went in at 8pm the restaurant was empty and I was told they were not taking orders until third shift came in at nine The majority of the employees were outside smoking and being loud. I've never experienced this at a Waffle House before. I asked if they were open and she said "Yeah, we just ain't takin orders" go to the one at the next exit. When we went to that one and asked them why they said they didn't know but said it would explain why they had been so busy.
