Stopped in trying to get just a quick to go drink cause everywhere else was closed that late. Walked in and had to wait a solid 10 minutes before anyone even realized that there was a customer in the store, I could have robbed them blind! As both of them scrambled out of the bathroom I noticed they both had DRY hands! Neither one of them had washed their hands from whatever it was they were doing in the bathroom together. You would think 2 grown women should have been able to be at least come up with some good excuse or apologized or something but nope not them! They just doubled down and decided to be super rude by questioning why I was in the store that long and hadn't come and found them!!! So unprofessional but I guess that's just what you got to do for an orange juice.
This location is very small so it can get quite crowded very quickly. We had no trouble getting the table, though.The service and food are great but not all food options are available in the menu. For example, Waffle House serves omelets but they were not in the menu. We had to ask about them specifically so unless you know that Waffle House serves omelets, you are not going to see them on the menu.
Forgot about my waffle so I had to ask for it. The service was okay. Other than that the food was good.
These guy are awesome. Took such good care of us. Our service pro was amazing. Can't say enough about this place
Great food and atmosphere
Not a 24 hour Waffle House, they make their own hours. It also could be a possibility that my family was the wrong complexion smh Asheville/Waffle House does have a reputation. Either way I will take my money else where.
It had been 2 years since we last visited the Waffle House in East Asheville. It had been pleasingly remodeled. The store was bright and clean. It was appropriately staffed, 4 waitresses and 2 cooks. This was notable because in the past we always just saw 1 cook and 3 waitresses. The service was prompt and our waitress was enjoyable. We both ordered the breakfast sandwiches with bacon and hashbrowns. Our drinks were coffee and iced tea. The food was quick and hot. The value was good. She refilled our drinks multiple times without our having to flag her down. She also course cleared when appropriate. I'm sorry we didn't remember her name. The return to Waffle House was a positive experience!
Good food as always, but the last 3 or 4 times the wait staff forgot about half our order. Last night my party and I ordered a waffle with blueberries and a side of bacon, a Texas bacon patty melt with covered hash browns with an extra order of covered hash browns, a large OJ, and a regular patty melt with onions. We didn't get the blueberries, the side of bacon, the extra side of covered hash browns, the large OJ and the onions on the patty melt. Oh, but we paid for it all.
Honestly, the cleanest and most friendly waffle house I've ever been to. Cooked my rare sirloin perfectly. Will be back soon.
The decision I made turned out to be the wrong one, it was a lot of stress on me, I hadn't let the outside appearance fool you. This place has a bad RAT problem, it's in a bad location and it's hard to get rid of them. When I ise to work there they were always in the food and things. I told the manager, and it wasn't no big deal to him the food is great but with all this covid going on I would not eat their trust and God Bless, please say your GRACE before you eat here YUCK,
