Very friendly staff, good coffee, great vegan options. Their vegan breakfast sandwiches are delicious. I recommend the vegan popper. It’s made with tempeh, jalapeño cream cheese, cucumber and sweet chili sauce. So good! I was impressed with how quickly they get your food and drinks out to you. The line was out the door both times I was here and they still managed to get everything out in a timely fashion. Check this place out!
We came here every day while we were in town and it was consistently amazing. The coffee is excellent and every breakfast item we tried was perfect (our favorite was the sunrise breakfast sandwich). And make sure you try the cheddar biscuits! Staff is super friendly and our orders always came out quickly and correct, even during out-the-door lines. Fair prices for high quality and a super no-fuss atmosphere made this one of my favorite coffee shops I’ve ever been to! And the side dining room is a great place to work and meet. I miss it already!
Friendly staff, they hustle drinks quickly, too.Grab a paper menu while you wait - there's both a "regular" and a vegan menu. Both have breakfast and lunch options and both are served all day.I opted to get a classic breakfast sandwich, which normally comes on a bagel, on a cheddar biscuit - the biscuits looked bonkers amazing and I had to have one. My breakfast sandwich was A+.The inside is a LOT bigger than it looks on the outside. There's a whole side area with indoor seating in case it's too wet or cold to sit outside.The parking lot is tiny and one way - you exit on the roundabout side.
5/5 for sure! Enjoyed our visit while in town. This will be added to our quick breakfast and coffee mornings from now on when visiting town. Highly recommend the Rad bagel. Coffee was hot and delicious! Dog friendly patio, friendly staff, and killer power balls, you can't go wrong.
I love this place so I just wanted to post a quick review and add pics laterDo yourself a favor and GO HEREEvery time we visit Asheville, we HAVE to visit Ultra. It's an absolute staple for us. The espresso is made perfectly, which means incredible lattes every time. They have really good food, I normally get the "classic" bagel sandwich but I've tried a few other things and I was never disappointed.
Every time I visit Asheville I make this my first stop. The coffee is amazing and the breakfast vegan sandwich selection is great. The perfect start to a walk around the River Arts District!
