Our server Jill was knowledgeable and very efficient. Jillâs recommendations where wonderful. We fully enjoyed our evening out.
Food was so amazing. Beech mushroom was fantastic but the rock shrimp took it all home. We got the chocolate cake..worth the wait! Service was fantastic. The only thing I would say is that it was extremely loud, had to shout across the table and the ramen was a little more oily then we would have liked. Overall, just an amazing experience.
Our visit to Ukiah was - as expected- very enjoyable. The menu is unique in many ways and well prepared with perfect amount of smoke in some foods. Tapas style dining is easy to do here and the tasting menu is a smart way to enjoy a variety of foods at a reasonable price. We especially enjoyed the fried beech mushroom and ribs and crispy shrimp and surprisingly the corn on cob with Japanese Mayo. The sweet potato was also unique and tasty and the salmon sashimi was nice also and the cocktails were creative. Bianca was our server and she was very good and friendly as well. Someone like that can really enhance the dining experience. The only negatives we noticed were relatively insignificant : the table agreed the grilled chicken thighs skewers were a little too salty ,and a little meager as well, the noise levels were noticeably high at peak dining time on this particular Friday, and over the last few months since we last visited , we noticed the menu had stayed largely - if not entirely- the same. Nonetheless itâs a fun and well-executed dining experience we recommend.
The food was delicious and different We were able to taste a variety of dishes and shared most. The service we received was excellent, the server was very knowledgeable on all items on the menu . It was our first time there and we will be back.

I LOVE the food at Ukiah! The ribs are the best I have ever had! Service was a little slow this past visit and I'm not sure why - it was not packed. However, that will not keep me from coming back again and again and recommending it to others.
