Went here with my cousin...he talked about y'all's pizza all the time. Picked up 2...super good..like really good. Def will be back.
I've read the other reviews and maybe it doesn't take too much to please me, but I can't agree with what I read. I've tried this place a couple times and wasn't disappointed either time. We've tried pizza as well as calzones and thoroughly enjoyed both. (We Had delivery.)
Ordered from a hotel. Got the wrong pizza; phone call to restaurant blamed Door Dash (???) It was late so we ate it anyway. It was great! Truly the best pizza we’ve ever gotten in all of our travels. I’d do it again - but pick up, the correct order.
Not even in my top 10 in Asheville alone. Someone should tell them salt is their friend! I'm pretty sure no salt in that dough recipe....if there is it's needs to be 3 times as much....so do not go here.....top 3 in Asheville IMO are Manicommio, 828 Pizzaria, and Del Veccios. This pizza ?
This is my favorite local pizza joint in Asheville! Consistently good food that's fairly priced and great quality. I love the pepperoni and ricotta cheese pizza, but my absolute go-to is the pepperoni stromboli. Just take a look at all this cheesy goodness!
My wife and I stopped by the FBR Brewing for some games and great beer. The smell of the pizzeria drew us in, and so we ordered. Our order was 1 small pie with vegan cheese (wife is dairy free) and we opted to add bacon and mushrooms. All three modifications were upcharges. Once we received our order we discovered there was very little cheese, and we had ham as a topping instead of bacon. I’m not much of a confrontational person, so we just wrote it off as a loss. I’d strongly recommend anyone in the area with an appetite to just pop across the street to check out Hillman Brewing. Equally good beer, and much superior food. Which is unfortunate for FBR Brewing which has a good thing going, but is plagued by sloppy neighbors.
My first and last visit was rather upsetting. The pizza was okay and the atmosphere was very befitting for a pizza restaurant. After we ordered and paid for sufficient pizza for me and the 11 people with me an individual approached me and immediately demanded I put on a mask or get out. His approach was totally unwarranted. It was the choice of any establishment it that time to require mask so that was not my issue. My issue was being thrown out and not being reimbursed for the pizza which was not yet ready. Thrown out by a man I had no idea who he was. Upon leaving this same person told us not to come back. I can assure you we will not be back
I highly recommend this real good food and friendly staff they went out of there way to make my order give me directions and the deserts are amazing.
The crust is very dense and not good. The toppings were good.. I was really hoping for better.
This place has delicious cheese, sauce and toppings, it's one I keep in my regular rotation. My only critique is that their crust is tasteless, it seems like it lacks salt or something. Beyond the flavor, the crust has great consistency. Well priced too!
