Great cocktails and gorgeous sunset. Make a reservation! There is a 1 1/2 hour time limit for your table so book accordingly if you are timing your visit at sunset. I wasn't expecting much in the food department thinking it was all about the views but was pleasantly surprised with how good my flatbread pizza was.

I highly recommend this rooftop bar/restaurant especially if you are staying in one of the nearby hotels. I highly suggest you make a reservation since it is quite small and seating is limited.

My husband and I walked down from the B&B we were staying at to get a late evening light bite and a drink or two. Took forever for the staff upstairs to call back down to the hostess on the main floor. Once we were up there, the waiter looked put out that we were there. We realized we had one of the last reservation slots, but it was still an available slot on their web site. We needed a second to decide on drinks, which made the waiter look more impatient. Once he finally came back, we placed our drink and food order. (Not a huge menu, but enough of a selection for what we consider "drinks and snacks".) Drinks arrived and the food shortly thereafter. It was all OK, but nothing I'd say was worth the high prices. Within 5 minutes, the waiter was stating if we needed anything else it was last call. When they say they close at 10 PM (earlier in the week), they mean 10 PM and they are practically pushing you out the door at 9:45 PM. The staff attitude overall is just poor. For what's supposed to be an upscale rooftop bar....I've had better service at a Panera. And if they were understaffed or anything like that, I could understand, but they were obviously fully staffed. I would highly recommend going somewhere else in the area. There are so many other restaurants and bars in that area of Downtown Asheville.....places with great service. The location is good, and I'm sure on clear nights, the view is nice. I really wanted to point out to our waiter that yes, this is a rooftop bar, but you're a rooftop of a Doubletree. This isn't the Four Seasons or Plaza or some other swanky locale. And no matter how FABULOUS you think you or your restaurant are, guests shouldn't be treated like invading intruders.

We came here for cocktails at sunset and WOW. Stunning. We had the best seat in the house. Cocktails were very good too. You'll definitely want a reservation, or be prepared to wait a little bit for a seat.

First time visitors of Asheville and this was one of our favorite bars we visited. The drinks were awesome and fairly priced for a hotel rooftop bar and views were spectacular which elevated our experience. The food was also good. Reservations were required when we visited, not sure if it’s always like that, but it makes sense as the rooftop space is limited. Valet parking was also complimentary. Highly recommend!!

We were so excited to experience the highly anticipated rooftop bar we trekked down to its location at 3pm on a Friday, as are the hours published on Google. Not open yet, so we had a beverage downstairs while we waited for the bar to open. The valet was kind to let us know to get in line for the bar around opening time, so we secured a spot at 4 and travelled upstairs when it was our turn on the elevator. The reviews we read didn't say reservations required so I am putting it out there, I highly recommend making a reservation. We were the first people to arrive, with no reservation and were offered an outdoor table or seats at the bar. We chose an outdoor table and Becky (with good hair but bad attitude) proceeded to begrudgingly take our order, complete with eye rolls, sighs and over all just didn't want to be there kind of day. We enjoyed the scenery and met people at the next table and took some amazing photos. A thunder cloud rolled in and raindrops fell from the heavens above and we walked inside to and stood behind a line of empty stools. We were informed they were for reservations and we couldn't stand there. I don't know what time the reservation was due to be there, but not to allow us to stand behind the bar stools to finish our drinks is quite absurd. Paid the tab and left. Hope Becky has a better day!

Had a nice evening at the rooftop bar. The views of the surrounding mountaiins are fabulous. Get there early as it fills up as sunset approaches. There cocktails and beer selections offered many selections that fit our palates. The food menu is a bit limited, but the flatbreads are delicious. Cierra and Becky did a great job serving.

Sorry no food review here but wanted to mention Kenny, the bar tender. Great Old Fashioned! The view at sunset is so beautiful.

Had a pleasant waiter and the best cosmo ever. The cheese board was good and the view was terrific. Staff was great.

We visited Asheville for our honeymoon and this was one of the places our bed and breakfast recommended for drinks with a view! This restaurant really knocked it out of the park! We had a handful of drinks and a couple of appetizers! We loved the Parmesan truffle fries and the view! We were there around sunset and we stayed until the sun was down and it was absolutely breathtaking!!! We would recommend this location for couples, friends, and families to grab a bite to eat with some drinks!
