Came here with my wife for a quick lunch and, sadly, we do not recommend this restaurant. Service was pleasant but slow. Menu offerings are limited, especially for lunch. We ordered Patty Melts and both of us were disappointed since the beef patties were overcooked and dry/not flavorful. Parking was also tough.
Great atmosphere, neat little location, the ppl is more than pleasant and the food is good! Most def will highly recommend especially for a quick am breakfast!
Breakfast was fantastic — just be prepared to wait, both for a seat and for the food after you order. We had the breakfast burrito, hash bowl (we asked for the sauces on the side and glad we did; might have overwhelmed all the other wonderful flavors), and some delicious grits. Servings were large; we couldn’t finish it all. The breakfast potatoes are great all on their own.
It's a small place, so unless you get there early you're in for a long wait. We waited about 40 minutes for a table, and everyone coming out said the food was fabulous.I got the French toast (they were out of real maple syrup) and a mimosa. The mimosa was $6 and in a mason jar, probably 90% champagne with a hint of orange juice. It was fabulous. The food was only okay, so maybe I'll try something else next time.My husband got the two-egg breakfast with a biscuit and some coffee, and was a little disappointed in the coffee.We'll definitely give it one more try with different entrees, and I'd definitely say to go at least once.
We visited Asheville for a long weekend and went to The Med for breakfast. I would highly recommend this place. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We sat at the counter and were able to watch the cooks in action. It was obvious that they have been working together for awhile. The home fries and grits were out of this world. To top it off, some nice gentleman sitting next to us paid for our meal. Please be sure to visit if you are ever in the area!
Great Diner! Excellent hand pattie sausages. The biscuits looked great. Everything was fresh and made to order(a little slow but great) Would def return and recommend. Was soo HUNGRY And it looked so good I forgot to photograph the food hahaha.
Fantastic food and drinks in a dinner setting. Great prices and wonderful service. That’s why this place is always busy.Go to spot for many DT locals. Have in our rotation.
breakfast this am - great coffee, excellent bloody mary, 2 eggs over med, biscuit, potatoes, sausage, add gravy = awesome. Wife had tacos x 2, also awesome. strongest recommendation.
The food was worth the wait! Home cooked style diner breakfast. Absolutely delicious. Customers were coming in left and right. Would definitely dine here again.
What an amazing place to have breakfast. Food was just as amazing as the service. Definitely recommend. There might be a wait but it’s well worth it.
