So very disappointed. The wings taste like dry sandpaper. I should have listened to the bartender. Beers are great. Eat elsewhere ?

If you’re looking for beers that you’ve never had before, you may stop your search. The Funkatorium is unlike any brewery you’ve ever experienced. It’s a true palate playground for any beer lover. This is certainly one you’ll want to visit the “to-go room” at. ?

The Funkatorium is very spacious inside & outside, covered patio. Staff was great. We split the "Dennis" sandwich (fried chicken cutlet, 3 Deckers with cheese, ham, lettuce, tomato and a balsamic sauce on a French style roll) with homemade BBQ potato chips. My husband's dark porter beer was also good.

Great location and atmosphere with excellent food. The pickled plate is unique and great on a hot day. Lots of beers to choose from, however, the chalkboard inside is not up to date and "they won't update it, as it's too much work" according to one of the staff behind the bar.

Came here during the day with a relatively large group of ten. They were able to seat us immediately in their courtyard. The sour beers were incredible, with the full group ordering flights. Service at the table was very quick and accommodating, making for a great experience.

We tried both this location and the non-Funkatorium on a couples weekend in Asheville. This place felt more like a sit-down restaurant than the bar scene we expected. The food was alright, and the beer selection was almost entirely sours. I like sours, but my boyfriend is less of a fan and felt the alternative selection was disappointing. And I'll add, my sour was QUITE sour, even for me. Staff was friendly and quick, but overall we didn't feel like the price of the experience matched the value. We preferred the Wicked Weed on Biltmore Ave.

Great food and beer alike. Got the muffuletta and Kale Caesar salad. Food wise, big portions so was great to fill up but also to have a snack for later. Beer wise, their classic and more traditional styles were really good, but their barrel aged sours were my favorites. Super unique and well balanced flavors. Sours can be a bit intimidating sometimes but they clearly know what they’re doing as they were all delicious. Whether it’s the patio or beer garden, there’s a space for any size of party.

Stopped here on our weekend in Asheville. Great choice of beer and atmosphere. Had our young kids with us so was only able to enjoy a couple. Would definitely go back.

We stopped by for a late night meal. tons of amazing food options and a ton of beers to choose from. I did a sours flight and all were delish

Had the pickle plate, salt and vinegar pub chips, Buddha bowl, Kale Caesar salad and tomato soup. We enjoyed every single thing we tried.
