We recently celebrated my daughter's graduation here. We rented the private room and when we arrived, everything was set up so perfectly! Our server was attentive without interrupting our celebration. The food was plentiful, hot and delicious. We were missing some vegetarian portions and the issue was resolved quickly. I highly recommend The Cantina for good food, good atmosphere and exceptional customer service!

We were on the road and decided to stop here for lunch. The restaurant is located in Biltmore Village, an upscale shopping and dining area . Finding a parking spot is a bit of a challenge. The restaurant was fairly pricey for even fresh Mexican food. The menu is what I would call creative. The food was good and the service was attentive. They had plenty of lunchtime diners on Friday.

A good restaurant with fresh tasting meals. Loco Chicken Burrito is a medium spicy tasty burrito. Comes with a shredded lettuce and diced tomato mix on plate with 2 sides. Pork carnitas 1/2 order quesadilla was more than enough for hubby. Medium spicy as well. This restaurant has an option that you can skip your sides that come with your meal and the restaurant donates the cost of your sides to a feeding the community program. Great idea. The Mexican rice side was large enough for two people to share and so was the refried black beans. Both were better than average. Entree prices were very reasonable with lots of local foot traffic and tourists
I’m a HUGE fan of Mexican food and this place was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! If you like queso you have to get the Ultimate Queso Dip with the fixins! It was some of the BEST queso I’ve ever had. Dinner was absolutely delicious and next time I’m in Asheville I’ll definitely be coming back!! Also, I had a frozen margarita and it was a bit strong and seemed not so frozen. Turns out it’s homemade and not from a machine, so it’s actually puréed fruits! The waitress took it back, added some simple syrup and blended it up again for me, and it was to die for!!! Amazing service!!!
We stopped by on a Monday. Nice deal with half off margaritas. Really enjoyed those!It was a nice night so we opted to sit outside. When dining outside you order at the bar and they bring food out.We ordered two fajitas since we were using our Asheville Independent Restaurant Passport. This was a lot of food! I liked the variety of veggies in the fajitas. We had plenty of leftovers.This was our first time and we will be coming back. Great local option in Biltmore Village.
