Stop looking for pub food anywhere else and just drive here. With choice taps and fantastic bartenders, the food is just icing. But it’s great icing. The prime rib sandwich kills and for a heavier lunch, hit up the fish and chips. Fresh and crispy never lie, and this restaurant doesn’t disappoint.

This place has a true sports bar/pub vibe. Big screens throughout and in a walkable part of downtown. The burgers were good but we felt that the fried foods i.e. onion rings and french fries were regular frozen fare. The server was attentive and it was a nice place overall. I'd go back to watch a game if I had the option.

Stopped in for supper before the concert and so glad we did. Service was fast and friendly. The food was fantastic. The fish was real fish not frozen and flat. The Bison burger was so fresh and excellent quality of meat.We will definitely be back.

This experience was horrible! I ordered a cocktail, handed the server my ID. He looks at it for a while and tells me he needs to run this by the manager ( I’m 21). After 5 minutes the server and the manager show up and the manager says “ there’s things on you ID that indicate it’s a fake ID so I will need to call the police to verify this is a valid ID” and I said okay. They show up, scan it, and it’s completely valid. It took me almost 30 minutes just to get one drink. I was also sat in an area with a fan and a light that gave off a strobe light look. I have seizures so it was very difficult. I asked if they were able to turn the fan off above us and the server said no ( this is after the drink stuff) so we had to move tables. My friend also ordered nachos but didn’t want this special sauce over top and just wanted sour cream and they said it would cost extra to just get sour cream. This was one of my favorite restaurants but I will never go back.

Bier Garden is my go to sports bar. They have an excellent selection of craft beer and delicious food. Hats off to my server, Julian, who provided perfect service during a busy night. Fantastic server. Great recommendations, very communicative and attentive. As a former server, I know what good service is. And Julian is a top notch server. Thank you!!

I stopped here for dinner while visiting Asheville. It was Saturday night and I was just walking hungry after a day of hiking. I didn’t want to wait for a table and I found this places. I could be seated immediately. Food and beer was good, service was friendly. Nothing memorable though,

Inexpensive Burgers & sandwiches. Large beer selection. Good service. Good place to watch a game or people walking by on the main drag.

We were starving and every place we had looked into was either an hour wait or only taking reservations. We came in and we’re seated right away. The staff were super friendly and the food was amazing. We will definitely be going back next time we’re in Asheville!

Great location and size. Perfect for a night in town for a concert. Excellent service early and late. Food was exactly what we were expecting in pub foods...loved everything. Many many beers.Tried several and they were all served correctly. Will return again, I'm sure. Yeah!

As a vegetarian, the food was really good. The menu has a nice selection of German inspired pub food. I had the veggie burger which was delicious. I wish I had known about the pepper relish that came on my friend's brats because I would have loved that on my burger. The sweet potato fries, however, stole the show. We were in a blueberry mood so she had the blueberry old fashioned and I had the blueberry lemonade. The drinks were outstanding and the service was wonderful. I would 100% go back.
