This is literally the best meal I’ve ever had in my entire life. I had the Tom Kha soup and the chicken satay with peanut sauce. I never knew such flavors existed. Thank you.
They need to fix their online ordering. I have called in the past several times about an extra charge for rice on dishes that say they come with rice. It would require a rice selection, charge you for it, but then they would send two rices with the dish. I was told by the restaurant that in order to remedy this, I would just have to select no rice and I would still receive the rice that automatically came with the dish. Today I ordered lunch to be delivered to my work, and selected no rice as instructed. Well today I'll be drinking my curry with a spoon because I did not receive rice with my order. I have given this restaurant multiple chances and will not be returning.
Well, service was good but food was dissappointing. Went for dinner and had larb na and chicken basil. Neither one was spice even though they both had 2 pepper ratings. The prices were high for what you get and they charged extra for rice with the basil chicken. Overall, passable as a meal, very disappointing as Thai food.
yummy spicy fried rice, medium level was not spicy at all. next time I will get hot level.. love my spicy foods
I came to this restaurant two times, while visiting Asheville. I would recommend this place. Food was very good. Service was also nice.
During the first two years of COVID-19, I ordered take-out from Suwana nearly every week as a way of staying sane! (I was also hoping that they would stay afloat during that tough season!)If you are fortunate enough to be there when Mam is in the kitchen, you might have the distinct pleasure of trying her version of the “Crying Tiger” beef salad. Of course, you CAN up the spice but this exquisite dish is unique to Mam … after eating Thai food around the world, I can certify that this is consistently the finest expression of Thai cuisine anywhere I’ve been!AND, if you have a choice, ask for Mint as your server. She can help anyone new to Thai feel at ease with this nuanced and sophisticated cuisine!Enjoy!
We order from Suwana's often but will be looking for a new Thai restaurant after tonight. We always order Drunken Noodles without bell pepper because bell pepper makes my husband sick and we received his order loaded with bell pepper. I always order Green Curry and not only did it have a strange chemical flavor but other than the odd taste it had no other flavor at all. Very strange. I am hoping that I am not going to end up being really sick because there was something really wrong with the curry. I called and spoke with the manager who actually argued with me that was I was saying wasn't true and that mild and medium spice are the same. Also very strange. We have enjoyed their food for a while but won't be going back.
Stopped in for a quick lunch and we were not disappointed. We were staying across the street at the AC hotel and the front desk recommended. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the drunken noodles. Would recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Thai restaurant.
