Without a doubt the best subs in town. Must go if your looking for a good sandwich. Cool location, cane sugar sodas, staff is super friendly. Meat and cheese sliced when you order it, 11/10
The subs are delicious and loaded up! I love getting them from here. The people are very nice too! The only thing I would change is how they heat the hot subs. The bread is always super flattened because of how it’s heat pressed and gets soft fast from the sauces. It would be great to have it oven toasted so the bread stays nice and fluffy and toasted!
I want to love this place so much. The atmosphere is cool. They have pinball and everyone working there looks cooler than me. They have cheeky names for the subs, they cut their meats super thin…it seems great! I grew up in New Jersey, a good sub is everywhere. This place is great on paper! They have the shredded lettuce, they don’t skimp on the Mayo or the oil and vinegar..everything should be perfect. But something is off, and it’s the bread. The white bread is too sweet and too soft, it’s like a sub on a dinner roll. If they could find the real sub rolls, that crack just a bit when you bite into them, I think it would be an institution. I bet they’re hard to find in NC.
Great food, great staff, hospitable owners. Pinballs in excellent shape. Cant wait to come back.
If you enjoy paying for overpriced mediocre subs and poor customer service then this is your place. I stood at the counter for nearly 5 minutes before even being acknowledged and still had to wait after that to place an order. The supposedly "daily fresh bread" was dried out on my sandwich and everything else about it was bland and mediocre at best. My recommendation, drive up the street to Ingles and get a 12" sub for $6.98, you'll be better off for it as I've always received better service and subs there. This place can't even come close to matching that price.
Super fresh and delicious. Good value for the amount of high-quality ingredients they pile on your sub. Online Order/Pickup process was easy and the folks at the store were friendly. I need to stay and play pinball next time. Definitely coming back here with friends.

Silverball Subs is a great location for a quick bite to eat with friends, and family. Kid friendly! Staff is quick with orders, and they know their subs.. Staff with great personalities. Very polite, and respectful toward the customers. Cool/fun place to eat, and play pinball if you want. I recommend this place due to the fact that the sandwiches are so uniquely named also delicious. I am firm believer in cleanliness in places food is served, and they are definitely clean. Anyone, and everyone should check them out for themselves.
My coworkers swear that this is the best sandwich shop around. We had to travel to the area for work so I finally got to try it out. And let me say I can confirm. The sandwiches are delicious with high quality ingredients and their sodas are the awesome too. the customer service was also really good. They also have a few pinball/arcade games. Its a great little hang out spot with a cool atmosphere.
