Great food and service. We got sandwiches fruit and chips and everything was very fresh. Customer service was attentive and helpful.
Went with the wife on Monday, 5/16/22. We got 2 whole sandwiches and split the: The grilled chicken caprese & the Italian. Both were very good. Had both on sourdough toasted bread. The potato salad and fruit sides were both good. Service was quick & polite and the small environment with about 6 tables & counter near the window were very clean. Will return next visit.
Excellent Veggie burger that stands out from other veggie burgers. This one is clearly homemade with actual black beans and lentils. The burger is also loaded with red onions, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and a special sauce. Fantastic sandwich even though it was on the pricey side. The potato and pasta salads were also very refreshing and fresh. I also recommend the chicken salad sandwich which includes sundried tomatoes that add a beautiful flavor to the sandwich.
Highly recommend Roman's to visitors, tourists, and residents! This local joint serves up the best chicken salad you've ever tasted. Their Reuben is also delicious. The Italian sandwich, and burger are so good too! Just can't go wrong with lunch here. Potato and pasta salads are great sides as well. Try it and you'll be hooked!
I gave it a five because the Hamburger is the best in western North Carolina. I don't know what the meat is marinated in but it is amazing and I've been treating myself here for over a decade. This is not a place to find fried food but you can get some healthy sides. I just go for the burger. Call ahead and make sure they are open since their primary business is for the downtown work crowd. Now, I almost gave them a three star for location, panhandling while sitting outside, and the occasional transient you will have to step over to get to this great place to eat. BUT, that is not their fault but the fault of the city of Asheville which needs to be cleaned up.
Our office orders Roman's for staff lunches throughout the year. The food is always fresh and a crowd favorite. The No Brainer is our go to with Pasta salad, fruit, and chips! Whether picking up or delivery for 2 or 60 people, they are always on time and very friendly.
We are a local business and Roman's is our go-to for lunch. They have outstanding local sourced food, good portions, and a great variety. I would recommend Roman's to anyone seeking lunch in Asheville.
